Patch: patches for smbmount opton documentation ( smbmount.8.xml )
Hi, I use samba on Linux 2.6 and 2G over size file sharing. It seems smbmount '-o lfs' need to use with large file. but default man page doesn't say this option. I want to edit smbmount.8.xml for lfs and unicode option. I believe using mount.cifs is right way on latest Linux. But one of the implementation smb_clients tools take this lazy option. Is it right way to change of man page

Icecast stats.xml
(see forwarded mail further below) Shoutcast v1, Shoutcast v2, Icecast-KH are all "compatible" with the way info is collected by StreamLicensing. Some may wonder why bothering to humor StreamLicensig, but the thing is that other licensing/royalty collectors did it the same way. StreamLicensing are now sadly the only ones that cater to small independent station that do not wish to be

C caron character in R
Hi! In R 1.6.1. for Windows using RGui interface I try to use characters of Slovenian alphabet. Slovenia is a small Slavic country south of Austria with 3 characters which are not found in English alphabet, namely C, S and Z- all with caron. As S and Z are presented OK in both Console and Graphics window, this is not the case with C caron, which is shown as E acute- for an example please see:

Ogg Vorbis on iTunes / iMac
Been researching a way to play an internet radio station (http://www.hbr1.com ) that says I should use a method that supports Ogg Vorbis files. I found your site but it doesn't have any instructions as to "what and how to download and install" the "Xiph" decoder. I'm not very savvy with computers so please make any response basic and as non technical as possible.

IceCast status - raw XML output
Please add the following XSL file to IceCast distribution (web directory). It returns IceCast's state in raw XML form. <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version = "1.0"> <xsl:output indent="yes" encoding="UTF-8" /> <xsl:template match="@* | node()"> <xsl:copy>

Ideally, this is something the backend would do, but doing it as a CGP like fixup pass over the IR is also reasonable. I’m really glad to see that this is gone in GVN - it will reduce our

Disabling XML character escaping for to_xml
Currently, it appears to_xml will automatically escape any entities into their corresponding &XXX representation. There''s a piece in the documentation that says "If $KCODE is set to u and encoding set to UTF8, then escaping will NOT be performed." Unfortunately, this doesn''t appear to be the case. Even after following the docs and ensuring that default_charset is

What if geoRglm results showed that a non-spacial model fits?
Hi R-people: Working in geoRglm, it shows me, according to AIC criterion, that the non-spacial model describes the process in a better way. It's the first time that I'm facing up to. These are my results: OP2003Seppos.AICnonsp-OP2003Seppos.AICsp #[1] -4 (OP2003Seppos.lf0.p<-exp(OP2003Seppos.lf0$beta)/(1+exp(OP2003Seppos.lf0$beta))) #P non spatial #[1] 0.9717596

Icecast Logging
I have some questions about Icecast logging... How close is Icecast logging to the Apache logging format? Can you customize the output options like Apache? We've used several tools to process our Icecast logs in the past, including Webalizer and Urchin. Urchin seems to report some slightly erroneous data. What have others used for processing Icecast's access.log file? Hunter --- >8

a few more questions...
Hello everyone, I sent the last email prematurely - I had a few more questions. I don't wish to start a holy war here, but are there certain OSs / Distros that are preferred for running very busy icecast servers? We're a Solaris shop currently, but don't mind using linux or BSD if that would make things easier. I see there is a Fedora Core RPM on the icecast page - does that

Sieve notify messages
Hi All I'm using dovecot 2.0.16 with the pigeonhole plugin 0.25. I'm trying to use the notifiy mechanism from sieve to send notifications when a mail arrives in the mailbox. The message is checked to be a 8bit message, otherwise it is replaced by the default message "Notification of new message." How can I create a 8bit message body within the sieve script that is accepted

Getting Listed
Yeah, I got one. How about a universal listing service that has one type of listing setup, and all servers conform to that?? (ie screw yp.shoutcast.com) I am completely open to working with anyone who would like to pursue such a project, and if it is possible I will even personally put money into it. [LLVMdev] LLVM parsers for popular languages? - Python, Rust, Go
Yep we have our own parser <https://github.com/vinzenz/libpypa/> and we would love to see other people use it. When we looked around at some other Python parsers we didn't feel like any of them were easy to extract and use on their own, so we wrote our own and I think were able to keep ours well-separated. There are some things that make parsing Python somewhat difficult to do in a
