I filled it out in the smb.conf, and edited the usermap file, then restarted the smb server, and it didn't work *shrugs* it works fine with ftp, so that'll do for now. Thanks anyway. What is your samba version? You need at least 3.28 There is a bug concerning execl files acls. Look at your linux/unix box when you save your exel files in the share it will loose their ownership and permissions.
