I need a Freelance Coder...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Huh, why not just use ices with a perl song choser module ? This eliminates the need to develop the libshout based streamer (use ices instead) and give ices the title from your module, ices will take care of the rest. Or I am wrong ? :) On Wed, 25 Feb 2004, Renaud Waldura wrote: > For what's it's worth, I do something similar to this

No source buffering
I guess this is a related question, but I'm not sure. I have a source that I'd like to broadcast delayed by 10 minutes. Is there any way to do this in the current Icecast 2.x code? If not, I suppose I can use streamripper to record 10 minute chunks and then write a web application to push the correct 10 minute chunks out to the MP3 client. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From:

Asterisk, she no hang uppa the phone!
I've been working on the local side of asterisk for several days, and I have the in-house dial plan pretty well corn fingered to my satisfaction. Today I began working on the other side to make asterisk do things like place an outgoing call to PSTN and route an incoming call from PSTN. I'm using a TDM11B with a single fxs and a single fxo. My analog handset is plugged into the port

Any buffering on server?
Hi, Thanks Mike. So is there any buffering done on the server, or is it all on the client? i.e. when a server first connects, does it get a "burst" of packets until it catches up to the current time? Thanks, Martin --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to

Learn from MY Mistake: "false" != false
Sharing my stoopid mistake in the hopes of saving someone else the same grief: I had a boolean toggle that was not performing as expected. Long story short: I had put quotes around the word "false" class { ''foo'' : boolFlag => "false" } was coming up TRUE To fix it, lose the quotes class { ''foo'' : boolFlag => false } “Sometimes I

Fwd: Re: Finney's fiducial confidence intervals of LD50
thanks a lot Renaud. but i was interested in Finney's fiducial confidence intervals of LD50 so to obtain comparable results with SPSS. But your reply leads me to the next question: does anybody know what is the best method (asymptotic, bootstrap etc.) for calculating confidence intervals of LD50? i could "get rid" of Finney's fiducial confidence intervals but
