Work on ICECAST : IcecastAdmin, remodularisation, Doc (Docbook), speex ...
Hello,
3 months ago, we (a group of 8 students of the ENSEIRB engineering
school (France))
started to work on icecast.
We decided to work on another CVS server. The aim _was not to fork a new
version_
of Icecast : the idea was to clean the code as fast as possible in order
for new
developers to enter the sources in an easier way.
We mainly worked on format, sources, and tried to clearly

ICECAST ADMINistration
Hi everyone !
We are a group of 8 students working (as a scolar work) on ICECAST and
we have thought that it would be a good thing to provide an
administration web interface implemented via SSL and are actually
working on it.
We have thought of several things this interface could do :
- reconfigure parts of the XML config file (depending on what are the
rights that the logged administrator has)

archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Hi, I was wondering if there's anywhere I could find an archive with all of
the previously released ogg encoders, specifically windows binaries. I know
I could rebuild every version from source, but it would be a lot easier if I
could just grab the executables.
Thanks.

speex support in icecast
Hello,
If someone want to look at what we did on ICECAST (we = 8 people from
ENSEIRB (France)),
he can just checkout from the CVS on Savannah
(subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/interopcast,
cvs co ENSEIRB)
We worked on format, streambuf, source, and tried to have a more logical
way of serving clients.
We also created a new generic ogg plugin which toggle to the right ogg
encapsulated format

archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Interesting - is there any easy way to tie each of these builds to a windows
application? I'm really not so familiar with how to do those types of
things - didn't even know what DSF was until a few minutes ago!

archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Thanks for all the info - I was able to find exactly what I was looking for
here:
http://codecs.ex-sounds.net/ogg/vorbis/oggenc/
As for what I'm up to, I have a memory-limited port of the Tremor Vorbis
decoder that I want to test on some older vorbis encoders for backwards
compatibility purposes. Nothing too nefarious. ;)

Problems with graphics
Dear all,
I am a SAS user, who's trying R. I am a little bit lost for graphics.
What is the simplest way for plotting y as a function of x with one
symbol (line or dot) for each level of a class variable z (for SAS
langage= plot x*y=z). Can I add vertical bars for standard deviation
stored in a separate variable (say ystd). Finally, is it possible to
do all this with xyplot function

How to use the wineprefix with another wine-path
Hi, there
I recently purchased a copy of bordeaux in order to try the dib engine (and pulse) in wine1.2
I would like to use this in already installed bottles.
So I tried something like this:
code: [export WINEDIB=ON]
then (as an example)
code:[/opt/bordeaux/bin/wine | env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-test wine winecfg]
This does create a wine bottle, but in this way the dib engine doesn't get loaded

PDE
Dear all,
Does any know how to solve PDE with R? The archive list refers to the
use of ODE if PDE are parabolic. I am not a mathematician and this does
not mean anything for me!
help would be very appreciated.
Many thanks

I use ubuntu 8.04 with wine 1.1.9.

Word acting as DDE server in order to generate documents.
After several tentatives with community packages I cannot get a working

vorbis-tools/Makefile.in glitch...
I'm updating my vorbis rpm spec file, and when I try to do "make -C

../lib/vorbisfile.a(vorbisfile.o): In function `_get_prev_page':

Thoughts on vorbisfile
Hi all,
While reading through various bits of libvorbis and vorbisfile, and then
thinking about how to implement other features in the xmms and winamp
plugins, I had some thoughts...
Vorbisfile is very useful, and very easy to use. It is, however, tied to
stdio - which means you can't use it for lots of other stuff where it'd be
useful - like streaming, or (under win32) avoiding stdio

libvorbis compile failure

error is below.
Also, what happened to the xmms plugin directory in cvs? It complains that
it is missing when I do a 'cvs update'.
