Why doesn't yp.icecast.org show my stream?
[Reposted here, silence on the icecast list, is this deliberate?] Once again, I'm clueless as to what is going on because I don't have the source or logs to yp.icecast.org. I am touching yp.icecast.org fine: [14/Feb/2002:01:39:22] directory_touch_xa([yp.icecast.org:80]) completed...server id = 69 but my radio station isn't shown. Icecast Directory
Why does my stream not show up in the Icecast directory but it does show up in the Shoutcast directory? I have the following lines listed in my icecast.conf file. icydir yp.shoutcast.com directory yp.icecast.org If I check the icecast.log file I see the following is occurring every couple minutes. [28/Dec/2001:11:12:04] [1:Calendar Thread] directory_touch_xa([yp.icecast.org:80 ])

Simple directory question
Folks, I've been running an icecast server for about a year, and never really had the chance to test it out on the other side of our Internet link. We've had a lot of people trying us out, but very short connect times in the whole. I finally got a cable modem at home, tried having a listen, and found the stream to be very stuttery. So, first things first, I went and grabbed the

Problems with 1.3.11 and Ices 0.22
We just built a new server to run Icecast 1.3.11 and Ices 0.22. It's a Dual PIII running RH7.1. We put it online last night and Icecast ran fine for 20 hours. Then it started throwing some errors.. That's when Ices died. Ices reported a libshout error. Part of the Icecast log is included. What can I do about this? Hunter [26/Aug/2001:16:05:01] [32:Connection Handler] Accepted

That patch I have on it was the one I submitted earlier which fixes the problem with the wrong arguments passed to snprintf in the avl code. That shouldn't affect sound. I'm fairly certain it's a

Possible bug in 'relist()' and/or 'as.relistable()'
Dear list, I think I just stumbled across a bug in either 'relist()' and/or 'as.relistable()'. It seems that 'pairlists' can only be un- and relisted as long as they're not nested: Good: a <- as.relistable(as.pairlist(list(a=1, b=2))) a <- unlist(a) relist(a)# Works Bad: a <- as.relistable(as.pairlist(list(a=1, b=2, c=list(c.1=1, c.2=2)))) a <- unlist(a)

Hi there, Is anyone available to help install an Icecast suite for me? By suite I mean Icecast, Ices (or some other way to stream static files), and Icedir (a directory server). Please e-mail me if you'd like to help (either for "thank you" or pay). Thanks, and best wishes. Sincerely, Katim --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage:
