Stream over SSL and chrome
2.2.4? I didn't think SSL was implemented until version 2.4.3. What would be helpful, not to mention useful, is to explain specifically and exactly what goes into the key file. The choices are: your server's private key, your server's public key, your server's certifying authority (CA) key, maybe even the curl CA. I've also seen this in examples of the SSL stanza from

Icecast not working with iPhone
Hello Goran, You must install Cerbot (for Let's Encrypt certificate) and then generate certificates (Icecast is not able to use the different Let’s Encrypt certificates generated by default, it is necessary to combine them). Then install the following dependencies : apt install git gcc build-essential automake autoconf libtool checkinstall and apt install libcurl4-openssl-dev libxslt1-dev

Latency with mp3 encoding format
Hello Guys, When i use mp3 format to stream on Icecast, it take 4,78 seconds between the moment I do "Play" and the moment the music starts. It takes less than a second in OGG. names lost in functions from packages installed by R-devel r74500
Dear list members, If I install with R-devel r74500 on Windows (sessionInfo below) the attached 'bugdemo' package with the single function foo <- function() { ? named <- c("bar"=TRUE) ? print(named) ? return(named) } then run > bugdemo::foo() [1] TRUE [1] TRUE The "bar" name is lost. It is not lost when I define foo in the R session instead of using

Streaming issue with IOS and Safari
We had only MP3 for a long time, and all iOS users could listen. I don't think iOS likes OGG. We also advertise the VLC app in case someone has an issue with the web player. OpenMP and random number generation
Dear all, Now that R has OpenMP facilities, I'm trying to use it for my own package but I'm still wondering if it is safe to use random number generation within a OpenMP block. I looked at the R writing extension document both on the OpenMP and Random number generation but didn't find any information about that. Could someone tell me if it is safe or not please ? Best, Mathieu

KS for goodness of fit
Dear All, I have two distributions which I don't their nature. I want to check whether they come from the same distribution. I know that I can use KS test however the standart function ks.test applies only the ks test for testing the difference of two samples (non-parametric). By the way the distribution are of Euclidean distances. One of observed and the other of shuffled data. Thanks, Ron

Re: Importing Excel .xls into R
One can import data from Excel ODBC source, but of course it is user's responsibility to ensure that the data are consistent. Each worksheet in the Excel workbook can be accessed as a table (for example, for Sheet1, you should type "select * from [Sheet1$]". The worksheet should have first row containing the column names, and the data rows should follow (the

Réf. : image legend
I would also be very much interested in having the image.legend function in R. The Splus image.legend uses the subplot function, which doesn't seem to be available in R, so one can't copy the Splus function to R (otherwise it would probably have been done already). I greatly appreciate the flexibility of the Splus image.legend function since it allow you to put the legend where
