OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Is this the HTTP call for injecting the “song” metadata? This is a capture (using RawCap in conjunction with Wireshark) of my AAC+ stream metadata input to IceCast that works fine. GET /admin/metadata?mode=updinfo&mount=%2FFVHradio_AAC&song=Fox%20Valley%20Hit%20radio%20-%20Hits%20from%20the%20Valley HTTP/1.0 User-Agent: RadioBOSS Authorization: Basic The same input to IceCast capture

OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Thanks Phiipp, I've attempted to download this previously but somehow ended up with v2.4.99 on Windows. Is there a specific path to your suggested version? This is on a Windows machine (since that might be an issue here). Marvin, That is the current version being used and it still has no meta data. server_id Icecast 2.4.99.1 Testing the metadata from the admin page “Update Metadata” results in the response: Message: Mountpoint will not accept URL updates Return Code: 1 So I would guess it isn’t functioning yet. > On Jun 12, 2017, at 12:34 PM, Marvin Scholz <epirat07 at gmail.com>

OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Anyone know any workarounds for OPUS/FLAC metadata on IceCast? I’ve monitored my inbound stream and this is working correctly (or at least the formatting and data for the OPUS stream is identical to the MP3/AAC+ streams). I see people with OPUS streams and metadata but they may not be using IceCast. Is it safe to assume we’ll see this in the next version? Rick

V2.4.4 Win32 YP/Directory
Hi guys. Does the YP listings on dir.xiph.org work from an Icecast Win32 build? I'm running 2.4.4 but it doesn't appear to come with any search results. I've made sure the YP directory is un-commented, set the source to public 1 (Icecast server reports public also as 1) and I've even tried a mount specific setting of public to 1 as well. How long does it take to show in the

Icecast 2.4.99.1 Opus Metadata. status.xsl and playlist.log
Hello, I'm currently testing Icecast 2.4.99.1 in regards to Opus metadata support. I have a Ogg Opus stream located here: http://50.31.159.156/64.opus When I playback the stream in VLC I see the expected metadata displayed in the client. ffprobe and mediainfo also return the expected metadata. # mediainfo http://50.31.159.156/64.opus General Complete name :

Opus Radio Stream

Proposal - Extended Channel Layouts in Opus
I've run into some issues using Opus with source files in channel layouts other than the default 8. For instance, 2.1 isn't supported, so I have to either downconvert to 2.0 or upconvert to 5.1 (which usually involves adding empty channels, which prevents the playback device from upconverting to the native layout). To address this, I've put together an initial draft of an I-D I'd

Channel Mapping Family for Ambisonics
Tim, Would you mind giving me a more specific example of the sort of document that you think this should look like? I'd like to write up something that is somewhat final. R CMD install on R 2.5.0 alpha
Hi, I've just downloaded the latest R v2.5.0 alpha (2007-04-04 r41043) for WinXP. When I try to install a package R tries to install it to a no-name (empty name) directory (causing error downstream): RCMD INSTALL R.oo installing to '' FYI: Package install perfectly on R v2.4.1 patched, and did so also on earlier R v2.5.0 devel/alpha(?) versions. Current directory is: C:\tmp with

Channel Mapping Family for Ambisonics
Hello Tim and others, Thanks for your help explaining this process on IRC. I wrote out a first draft in the RFC xml format. I have attached the xml (labeled as xml.txt so it will appear inline) and the rendered txt files. Please let me know where I can make improvements. I will upload this draft to the IETF datatracker and send it out to codec@ after addressing your comments. -------------- next

My apologies for the confusion, I think I have the mapping layout correct in this patch. Cheers!
