Coding columns for survival analysis
Hello Folks, I have 5 columns for thousands of tree records that record whether that tree was alive or dead. I want to recode the columns such that the cell reads "found" when a live tree is first observed, "alive" for when a tree is found alive and is not just found, and "mort" when it was previously alive but is now dead. Given the following: > tree_live

Icecast2 Station with multiple scheduled DJs?
At WXBH-LP we had a similar need, and we solved it using mpd (music player daemon) to coordinate our feed to icecast. mpd is a music player (supporting playlists, etc.) originally designed for local network streaming, but it has several attributes that make it suitable for other things: * Items in its playlists can be local audio files or remote streams (e.g. DJ streams). * It

Icecast2 Station with multiple scheduled DJs?
I have been playing with Icecast only for a couple of days, and I am trying to figure out how to do something. I want a listener to have to only deal with one stream, but I want to be able to switch the source of that stream between multiple sources (DJs). The core idea is that the listener only deals with /live.mp3 while in the background I can problematically switch between a series of live

CentOS AutoDJ Problem
Hello, ?here are my personal suggestions on the matter. I will stick to the Icecast and streaming part of it, as other questions in your message regard the difference between Linux distributions in general (CentOS is one flavor of Linux, different from Ubuntu or Debian). Note that there are many other solutions available. 2014-03-03 15:07 GMT+01:00 Jo se <kulturu01 at gmail.com>: >

fallback mount points?
Hello Jonathan,Thank you for taking the time to reply, I just have a few questions.I am just a bit unsure on liquid soap I have looked at it before but not sure what it does and how to use it to set up my radio show. Also, does each mount point have a different listen URL as our website only allows us to have one URL linked to the website player. Thanks again!Hannah To: icecast at xiph.org From:

Icecast2 Source Tutorial Poor man's basic Icecast source setup instructions. Everything needed to set up a basic streaming system without the mess. This tutorial assumes you've successfully setup icecast2 for this. This tutorial also assumes you've got audio files to use to stream to iceca= st2. You will also need a method seperate from your source computer to tune-in t= o the stream

still having problems with edcast
Ok all, I have deleted the edcast folder on my machine and reinstalled edcast. However, I can't get the mp3 encoder to install. Tim said that it should ask if you want the encoder, and I thought I selected it under the select components to install, but it isn't installing. Two additional things are happening, 1. When I open edcast, I don't see anything in the dropdown lists.

Sending artist - title - album metadata
Another correspondent here has pointed out that: > Recently Stream Licensing LLC has changed their requirements so that > streaming internet stations in the US must stream the album [name] > along with the song title and artist. We are also in this particular boat. We are using Centova Cast which uses Liquidsoap as its AutoDJ and Centova say that if the album tag is stored in the file

So i have a testcase (see PR31792, and cond_br2.llin GVN) that current GVN can simplify because it replaces instructions as it goes. It's an example of a larger issue that pops up quite a lot I would appreciate thoughts on what to do about it it amounts to something like this (but again, it happens a lot): live = gep thing, 0 live2 = gep thing, 1 branch i1 provablytrue,, mergeblock, otherbb

Regarding edcast with icecast2.4
Hello all. So I just thought I would come in here and ask you all a couple of questions regarding edcast. First off let me tell you my situation. I am managing a radio station and my icecast server the way I have it set up the source of which the broadcaster connects to has to have a username and password for a mount point that is being passed through the server. Basically these are all

fallback mount points?
Each MountPoint has a different URL, but in the ways that I have described, you don't use it like that. You can have 2 or 3 MountPoints but, one you can just serve as a fallback for all 3 of them. Let's take this example for a few seconds. Say for example, if you had, "http://yourdomain.com:8000/mount1" that will just serve as the listener MountPoint. "/mount2"
