EZStream and Cue Sheets
Looks like it's what I need. Do you know, is there a distro or repo
for Fedora? Or should I build it from source?

Looks like a lot of tedium. I'll give it a go on Red Hat, but not
before a full backup first.

EZStream and Cue Sheets
I could, but I have this big old Fedora system just waiting for me to
get LS working on it, so I think I need to concentrate on making that
happen. If it's hard, difficult, tedious, inconvenient, then that's
what it is. I want the cue sheet capability some way somehow, so I'm
just going to have to knuckle down and buckle down and do it. Right?

Hi Steve.
Liquidsoap supports CUE sheets as an input.

EZStream and Cue Sheets
In my experience liquidsoap is a lot easier to compile from source on
Debian or Ubuntu. Both platforms also have packages in the repos.
To experiment it might be easier to spin up a small local VM, or there's
always a digital oceans droplet, or EC2 micro instance.

Hello,
Fedora and CentOS don't have any prebuilt packages in the standard repos.
Here are a few guides from the Liquidsoap community, specific to CentOS.

Replacement for Lidquidsoap
Can anyone recommend any program newer than the last release of
Liquidsoap, which, unless I misread the page, was in 2007?

Icecast Source Client
Hello,
is there a Linux Source Client which can handle cue-sheet (or something similar to provide external metadata for one big source file) playback ?
The only working cue sheet player I have found was for Windows (Foobar2000 + the discontinued edcast)
Best Regards

EZStream Question
Can it, or will it ever be able to, process .CUE files along with the
MP3 streams? If not, this would be a *VERY* VERY* valuable feature, as
a popular playout system in common use can now create .CUE files when
recording programs for later airing.

scheduling with ezstream and ice cast.
Hello all. I?m just wondering. Is there a way that i can schedule either playlists or files to be played on ice cast with ezstream? for instance, I would like a giggle to be played ever 10 minutes or so or perhaps some more complex things to be happened when scheduled. If anyone knows of sources or how I can put this all together, that would be great! Thanks all and have a good day.

Solution to single-file CD archiving, with cue sheets
I discovered FLAC earlier this year, and wrote flac-archive to
archive my CDs to single FLAC files. I've been archiving my
collection for months now, and have gotten it to a reasonable
level of stability and robustness. I recently looked over this
list's archive and saw a number of questions about doing this,
with no clear solution emerging. So, here i am to offer my
meager tools.

Flac files with internal cue sheets
I wrote a somewhat quick and dirty player for flac files with internal cue
sheets. It is curses-based, and I've tested it under linux and cygwin. It
uses OSS for audio output. Reply or contact me if you would like the source.

What's best practice for serving multiple formats from a remote icecast server?
We are running an icecast2 server in conjunction with our LPFM radio
station and need a little advice.
We have been serving a single 128k ogg stream from a remote server and
would like to make additional formats available (e.g. mp3, lower
bandwidth, etc.)
I would think this has been done a few thousand times and there would be
a "best practice" but I can't find it.
Our basic

EZStream: Can it stream a URL?
Got'ny good ideas for doing that then? I want to connect to a stream
for restreaming, for lack of a better term.

EZStream 0.5.6 Says No Such Share Object
On Fedora 20 (Heizenbug), when the command:
/usr/local/bin/ezstream -q -c "{some-file}.xml"
is executed, the error message:
/usr/loca/bin/ezstream: error while loading shared library:
libtag_c.so.0; cannot open shared object file: no such file or
directory
is displayed. "find" shows it's in /usr/lib64, which is a link to
/usr/lib64/libtag_so.0.0.0. Is there something I

I'm sorry, the previous ezstream RPM package maintainer did not registered the
package for monitoring new releases, so Fedora still delivers older version.

Cue sheets/Tagging question
Is it possible to place track markers that will be reflected in a cue sheet within a long FLAC file?
I have a label who want to offer FLAC downloads of complete albums - but there have to be track points designated within the FLAC file
How can I do this please?
Many Thanks

EZstream XML that used to work
This is about as simple as it can get. It worked earlier today. I added
a couple lines, like sample rate and channels, it stopped working so I
took them out, and now when I run it through /usr/bin/ezstream with the
'-c' option, I get:
ezstream[5609]: ezstream/shout.xml: world readable??? # that's normal
ezstream[5609]: stream: default: no configuration
Here's the XML, with
