Fair warning after helping Timothy Clark out, is ill advised and warn
you stay away from this guy. While he talks a good talk, and
"Christian", come forth his ways are divisive and he is all over the
place. I helped him and maybe its my fault for being so helpful, and
then getting involved in it. I can assure you this guys motives are
not right.

Bandwidth Calculations
OK if I go with say HE-AAC or Opus, can I still encode as mp3? I am
using Butt as my source encoding. Can Butt be configured to encode
using these codecs instead of their codecs its defaulted to?
Still a bit unclear on the method to calculate a 128k stream with
6,000 GB available bandwidth over 30 days to give an estimated average
user connections possible.

the best way to run an automation system with iccast?
Hello all, I'm running a radio station on a remote server of which I'm hosting my website on and my ice cast server on, both on the same server. my question is, what would be the best way to run an automation system using ice cast? I have tried liquid soap which is a automation scripting language with ice cast but that didn't work? I have tried airtime, which is also an automation

IceCast broadcast calculations
Hello all reading this. I am new to the list as a way to learn a few things
about IceCast and I am fuzzy on. I am not a total noob to media, or serving
it. I have even developed, setup configured, a media server, or two, and
many many dedicated, or otherwise hosting servers, and by either blind luck
and chance found them to actually work once I was done. I am Scott, am in
the process of building

folks- do any of you know of a sight that offers free icecast servers? I am
looking for one that will also provide you with the bandwidth for your
listeners as well. like maybe one that will let around 4 to 00 listeners be
connected at the same time.
any ideas?

fallback mount points?
hello all.
I run a station which uses one primary mount to broadcast from. when DJs are not on air, we want to stream a playlist of music. I have a program taking care of that for us, but now I?m at a standstill.
When our automation connects to our primary mount point no DJ can connect to broadcast. So, I?m assuming I need to work something out with a fallback mount point but don?t quite get how
