Listener Stats getting wrong IP
Kurt, I have retested the Icecast server on port 8000 and it works fine, but there remains the problem with the IP information from listeners. Last time I forgot to change data on the client Ices and for that reason did not work. Yes, here also the default port is 8000. I send you two screenshots. Listener Stats getting wrong IP
Kurt, thank you very much for the reply. Now I am listening AMR.Alaska :) The address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: 8000 is to access the modem/router and configure it. I tried to change it but I can not find the way. With Icecast server running on port 8500, listeners data (ID, browser, OS, etc.) are correct, except your IP: http://www.fmcristal3arroyos.com.ar/z/irudi.php I do not understand what is the

This is were it gets a little complicated jPlayer http://jplayer.org/latest/demos/ Where music is played from the web site rather then from the client At the creation of our web site we made a decision to only stream mp3's. All music uploaded is converted to the mp3 format. We felt the complexity would be less difficult Rather the get into the multiplayer formats OGG, wav ect ect, we

When I click those, it does not open in the player it says there. And it makes no sense imo to have this kind of links, it's better to have a playlist link like the m3u Icecast provides and the user will have the

Zero listeners on icecast stats
Have you considered round robin DNS.. essentially you assign the same A record to two IPs. I do this and it distributes listeners for me without Icecast. The best of luck in getting current clients working properly with Ogg/Opus. Many clients are buggy in that regard, including such things as closing the stream on metadata change. Many clients even

The m3u is down loaded to the client. The client [user] determines rhe player, what ever is the default player. Media player is not a good player, since it does not read the meta data well. If u right click on the m3u and have other players you can select. I find itunes the best for icecast if you are looking at having the client play On January 4, 2016 3:41:50 PM Hannah Carroll

I choose to use yum installer because I want to be able to update it via yum and not have to manually build/install each package when one comes out. I use a VPS that provides a modified minimal CentOS 7 64bit install. Your install may not have the
