Desperate for a decent icecast client for Ubuntu 12.04
Hi I finalement sent a simple sh + darkice.cfg that launch Darkice with
all the parameters .
Actually we understood a bit too late that OSS is not supported on 12.04
anymore and thus we add to give an alsa path to specify the sound card.
I plan on doing a simple web interface for Darkice, hasn't anyone tried
this already ?
thanks

Hi , I tried IDJC last night , but could not figure how to just stream the
line in.
It seems to be a great program but overcomplicated for someone who just
want to send his mic output

Desperate for a decent icecast client for Ubuntu 12.04
Michel, with "Ices" as client, as well as "play list" you can use "line
in" or "mic in", no problems.
One example: This station is using "mic in" because the "line in" is
broken some days ago ... ggrrrrr haha http://www.radioclaromeco.com.ar
In this station we are using: Debian GNU/Linux, Icecast2 and Ices2. To
control the audio levels we

Using ardj with ezstream
Hello everybody. I would like to ask a question. Does anybody here know how to use ardj with ezstream? I have been trying to find some documentation on how to get it set up and working properly. But, I cannot find any. So, I hope that one of you knows how to use the software in conjunction with each other, because I would like to set up an intelligent scheduler that includes, jingles, and other

Smooth Linux icecast source GUI
Hi , I'm currently helping a small french Radio
they Use Edcast for now on some old Windows XP machines and it's not really
reliable at all although Edcast is a great piece of free software
Then they might migrate to a Linux Box , but apart from darksnow I can't
find a Linux GUI that would match the graphical ease of edcast.
maybe the best would be a Web frontend for DarkIce but I

JACK compatible SIP/IAX client (related : Asterisk JACK application)
Hello list,
I'm looking for a SIP/IAX client that would hook its audio on the JACK
audio server on the client host.
I first tried to use the Asterisk JACK application, installing an
Asterisk instance on the client host, but I got mitigated results : the
host runs a RT kernel (necessary for my use of JACK) but each time a new
call is started, it triggers Xruns. Not good. Also, during the call,

An input channel for JACK ?
Hello everybody,
I have installed wine and been using it for long (for example for WoW :D) and everything works very well !
Ok, you'll probably find that strange if I'm coming here and post something, it's a pity it's generally not the use.
Anyway, my problems are :
- I'm Franch, so that's not as if communicating was so easy ; ;)
- I use the Jack sound server with a
