Hi all, I'm working of getting a new station setup and will need to support
broadcast software that can only do Shoutcast (Winamp since the user can't
only stream in Shoutcast mode).
I have this in my icecast.xml:

<port>8000</port>
<shoutcast-mount>/live.mp3</shoutcast-mount>

Javascript source client
Hey everyone,
I am new to the dev list here, but my question specific about any
development towards webrtc integration.
Let me explain, a couple colleagues and I are currently working on our
webrtc build at live.mayfirst.org site useing nodejs. We are currently
looking into seeing if there is any development of a javascript source
client? This would be used to send the webrtc room to a public

decoder with special features needed: pointers, ideas?
Hi everybody,
I want to use a ogg-equipped notebook for playing music for (folk and
ballroom) dancing,
and a player for this should have two features I' like to find or implement:
(1) I want the middle part of a song repeat "endlessly", with two track marks
that I want to hide somewhere in a vorbis comment.
(One day I want to control that with a gui or SIGUSR1 or something else,

(Un)Usefulness of Vorbisgain?
I've just Replaygained several of my Vorbis albums with Vorbisgain, ranging
from 80's metal to present day soft rock. What I don't understand is why does
Vorbisgain actually make all tracks QUIETER? I see an average of -7db on
most albums. And after that, not only are they substantially quieter than my
MP3s (which is a pain), but it also fails to really "even out" the volume.

Re: Fwd: More fallback handling
Hi,
I'm the author of the patch in question. Mike emailed me to say that he was
not very much convinced the run command features would be useful. He also
mentioned that the implementatiton is problematic.
Well, to understand the reason for the command execution, one really has to
know how this patch came about.
I am new to icecast, four days ago I didn't know it existed.
I hooked up

integrating vbulletin
Has anyone successfully integrated (embedded) vbulletin into a rails
app? I would be curious to see if/how this worked.
RForum still seems quite beta so I am looking for something a little
more tried and true.
thanks

vBulletin integration
Is anyone doing any Rails integration with a vBulletin installation?
If so, are you interacting with the database tables directly or going
through one of the higher-level APIs? How is it working for you?

prototype.js and vBulletin
I''m hoping this is the right place to ask this question.
I''ve been hitting my head against the wall trying to incorporate
prototype (and then scriptaculous) into vBulletin but am having some
issues that I cannot resolve.
Has anyone ever accomplished this task?
I can post more details if anyone things they can help.
Thanks.

Markdown for phpBB, vBulletin and the rest?
Is there any way Markdown could be ported to the major bulletin board
programs, like phpBB? It seems like such a place would be a great fit
for Markdown. It would definitely be a lot better than using BBcode
or vBcode or whatever the heck it is they call that mish-mash of
pseudo-HTML they use.

Data indexing issue...
Dear R-help,
My dataset (which is a data frame, called 'Calender' here) includes 365
rows representing 365 days for a year. One column ('Season')contains
factor data representing seasons, e.g. spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Another column (called 'Day') contains data representing wether the day is
a working day (I use 'Wd' for short here)or weekend (I use

Calender Script?
I have been trying to get one of the calender javascripts to work with
the <%= form.text_field. So when the user pick the date it updates the
time fields? (like in normal reservation system where you pick up the
date and time from the calender and when user pick the selection it
updates the field) but I could not get this to work.
Does anyone have got something similar to work? or could

Date calender instead of selectboxes like in Django
Hi,
please have a look at
http://www2.jeffcroft.com/2006/may/02/django-non-programmers/
especially the screenshot in the middle with the Calender. Instead of
3 selectfields with day, month, year I find this one much more
userfriendly, also having yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Are there plugins for this? I know

php-sites, and

Postfix and Dovecot are responsible for mailing. If you want a calendar, you probably want
a CalDav server or a Microsoft ActiveSync compatible server.
There are various solutions out there, I know of caldav servers and libraries
