Two sources on one PC
you can run multiple instances of the standlone version of oddcastV3 by just installing it multiple times into different directories... all config files are kept locally. oddsock At 09:05 AM 2/9/2006, Geoff Shang wrote: >Hi, > >hmmm. Oddcast & vorbisenc.dll
Hey oddsock, I was wondering why vorbisenc.dll is statically linked inside oddcastv3, yet vorbis.dll, ogg.dll, etc is not. This means I cannot update my stream to use a newer version of the encoder, and I can't try other tunings of encoders. I'm wondering if this is a mistake since vorbisenc.dll is distributed in your package, yet it is not used. It would be very nice if you could

Using aoTuV with Oddcast
Hi, Excuse my ignorance, I'm primarily a LInux user and don't have a Windows install on any hardware that's actually working at the moment. Is it possible to use aoTuV B3 with Oddcast? Is this simply a matter of replacing a DLL? If so, are there any precompiled DLLs anywhere, or is anyone with the appropriate tools prepared to cook one up for me? I have people who are probably

Win32 streamer?
Where do I get oddcast at? I did a search on winamp.com and nothing and I did a google group lookup to see if anyone was talking about it and I got back everything but what I was looking for. How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
if you are reading from line in, then use 44100/Stereo, Oddcast (pre oddcastv2) has issues with converting 22/mono to 22/mono....basically, all is good if you have 44kHz input (I think mono or stereo works)... oddsock At 06:55 PM 11/25/2002 -0600, you wrote: >Ok. looking for blind win32 users
Hello all, Sorry to post this here, but I am pretty sure there are a few blind win32 users who frequent the list. I'm looking for a blind win32 user or someone visually impaired enough to depend on assistive technology to use applications. I am doing research related to win32 development and assistive technologies. Essentially I'm trying to make sure a new application will be usable by

How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
Ok. Now it will run. But when i try to play back my stream(either ogg/vorbis or mp3) it sounds like the chipmunks. Could it be that I'm broadcasting at a sample rate of 22050 in mono? This shouldn't make a difference as the source is also 22050 samplerate and mono(its the line-in plugin for winamp). I'm using Winamp 2.81 with the is the Oddcast DSP for Winamp 2.xx plugin to

[lists] Re: Re: How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
Thanks for everything. I just have one complaint: Oddcast won't save my broadcasts. But I can get around that by having a second Winamp session open and setting the vorbis decoder to save streams and then tuning into my own stream. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message

win32 SDK call for help
Ok, so I've taken hold of this, and since this appears to be the only thing holding up 1.0.1, I have done what I think closes the loop...Based on the conversations here on the list I have made the following changes to the vc6 project files : - consistent runtime linking. They are ALL now using the Multithreaded static runtime. Hopefully this makes the generated DLLs the most portable. -

Ice Cast / win32 basic help

I'm not blind but I write commercial broadcasting win32 software that a lot of blind users like and use, because it uses standard Windows controls; I always make sure everything can be done using keyboard shortcuts; and navigation is possible using tab. Now I know Oddcast is not one of the standard Ogg tools, but I thought I would take this opportunity to mention that it is almost
