Accumulating latency in nsv stream
Greetings: We have a problem with accumulating latency in a 1 fps nsv video stream; the delay is about 5 sec. when the stream is first mounted but after about 10 hours it is up to 1/2 hour and after 24 hours it is almost an hour (no frames are dropped, a client viewing the stream just sees video delayed by those amounts). I have commented-out the <burst-on-connect> and <burst-size>

icecast acceptable headers
the problem is probably that nsvcap most likely tries to attach using the "shoutcast source" protocol, which is some strange variation of HTTP (but definitely not HTTP).... It's strange-ness and non-HTTP-ness is the reason why icecast doesn't support connecting the Shoutcast DSP to it. So I don't think any magical combination of headers will get live NSV

Anyhooz the problem is I need the latest icecast in win32 format that has been compiled with this bugfix. NSV Problems
For some reason using the 2.3.0 Version I can no longer stream Nullsoft Video. I have the correct tags in the config file but for some reason the server will not accept the connection from the encoder. I started up shoutcast DSP and it streams fine so I know it's not the encoder itself. Anyone else seeing this or can tell me how to fix it? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

NSV and VP3
Hi, Quick note: In case anyone has not heard, Nullsoft, the people behind Winamp, have seen fit to develop their own multimedia container format. It can hold any kind of data, but their primary codecs are MP3 for audio and VP3 for video: http://www.nullsoft.com/nsv/ I and a few other people are still working out the details of the format:

question on nortel CS 1000 PBX and PRI connection to built in PA system
Hi, I have asterisk running a single T1 card with a connection to a nortel CS 1000. All calls to extensions, local and long distance are working just fine. My issue is this: The nortel CS 1000 supports connections to and intercom system that is just line level audio to speakers. When my PRI tries to call this "extension" it is never answered so my AGI never runs to play a message

Theora vs. Nullsoft NSV
How does the Theora project differ from Nullsofts NSV project? [youtube] Performance of video in flash
Hi, I am quite happy about using swfdec except one thing: performance while playing videos. I know that I can not expect much as long as OpenGL isn't used buy... currently I get something about 1fps using: AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-28 1600 MHz 514 684 kB RAM Radeon Mobility X700 (radeon driver) Is this normal that fps value is so low? Audio works fine but it's impossible to

WINE 1.2.2 via UBUNTU 10.10; Low FPS
I am running Command And Conquer Generals Zero Hour (v1.0 had to be patched to NO-CD version) via WINE. After quite a bit of fiddling around the game runs with WINE but not properly. When I run generals.exe I get the usual WINE desktop window loading up and the game starts with normal sound but immediately drops to about 1FPS. On the main menu I can hear the sound fine but still, running at

SCCP (skinny) phone behind NAT: RTP dest addr wrong
Greetings: I have a working configuration for SCCP on our LANS which doesn't route RTP correctly to a skinny phone behind NAT registering from a remote public IP. Configuration: asterisk 1.4.35 servicing only skinny phones trunked to asterisk 1.2.40 which services chan_phone FXS, zap FXO and SIP phones; both instances of asterisk are behind NAT and run on the same host (using different base

world of warcraft drops to 1 FPS after runing for a while
Dear wine users, I have run wow under wine successfully for a while on my old computer, but recently I upgraded my system, and I am expreiencing a baffling problem : WoW runs great for a while, but after about 10 minutes, it drops down to 1 FPS. This corresponds with the cpu usage of WoW.exe jumping from about 60% to 100%. It feels to me like the game switched from using nvidia openGL to

Awful, AWFUL frame rate.
Hey guys. I'm very new to Wine. Very. I've pretty much just installed it. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and upon seeing many videos on Youtube such as "Team Fortress 2 On Wine!", seeing it run flawlessly, and I thought I'd give it a go. Now, I'm using the Dell Studio 1555, which has pretty awful graphics. It is a laptop after all. I managed however, with a few mods I could
