ATM with linux router
Does anyone here have experience with an ATM connection from their ISP running into a linux based router? We have a DS3 circuit for which we we thought we could use an SBE wanpci-1t3 card. video streaming
Hi, We're planning to launch a video stream. We do not have anything yet (no camera, no computer, no software, only a Linux server that will do the broadcasting with icecast installed). Has anyone ever done such a thing? What hardware do you suggest? What software can be used (both for Linux and Windows on source side). Can Icecast be used for this video streaming purpose (on server side)?

No Visible Binding for global variable
While building a package, I see the following: * checking R code for possible problems ... NOTE cheat.fit: no visible binding for global variable 'Zobs' plot.jml: no visible binding for global variable 'Var1' I see the issue has come up before, but I'm having a hard time discerning how solutions applied elsewhere would apply here. The entire code for both functions is below,

Again - backup WINS server?
Is there any way to set up a backup WINS specification in dhcp/Win NT/Samba? Having my WINS server go down the last few days made this a little more desirable, especially since when I noticed the service was dead, I wasn't able to reboot it for a few hours due to usage. Thanks, Bill -- Bill Eldridge Radio Free Asia bill@rfa.org
