Are there any success stories streaming to an icecast2 server using Asterisk or OpenMCU?
I have read more about asterisk and have succeeded in using it's app_ices function and a sample conference . I would like to learn more about lowering the latency between the Speaker on the SIPphone->Meetme Conference->ICES->Listener stream. Thank you Flash > > Let me know if there's more info you need and I'll ask my friends some > specific questions. > >

Looking for wine success stories
Hi folks, I'm going to be giving a talk at CeBit next month, and would like to showcase a couple of Wine success stories. If your organization is using Wine on more than ten desktops, please let me know how many desktops you're using it on, and what apps you're using with it. Thanks! - Dan

zaphfc success stories
Are there any success stories for using two zaphfc cards in quite new PC? I have had a lot of timing problems using a Asus P4G8X Deluxe motherboard so I thought it could be better to build a new cheap PC than putting more effort getting the cards working in that P4G8X machine. Do you have any success stories using Asus motherboards with zaphfc cards? I'm using Neolec freeway ISDN PCI

streaming meetme conference
Hello, Our 500+ company is slowly moving away from our hosted conferencing solution to one I built a few weeks ago with Asterisk and MeetMe. When our Q3 conference call comes around, we will have the need to have approximately 300-400 users in this call. Obviously, all would be 'listen only' mode and only 1 or 2 two would be speaking as marked/admin users. Our conference hosting

Need Success Stories and Mongrel Pics
Hey Folks, I''m going to start up a success stories page and link to people. I''m looking for *short* statements about how you use Mongrel and how you love it. People who hate Mongrel should send me a private e-mail begging forgiveness. :-) Make sure to include a link to your site if it''s public. I''ll put it up tonight when I do the official 0.3.13 release.

Any PCI passthrough success stories with SATA-RAID HBAs?
Just out of curiosity - searching for success stories has yielded no results - can anyone claim a success passing a PCI-(e) Raid Controller to a DomU and having it work over longer periods of time (month)? Really curious! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Asterisk success stories in small-mediumoffi ce environments?
Hello, I think I speak for many people here when I say we'd love to see the specifics of how you have your Asterisk network set up (phones/server hardware/Asterisk setup/...). Referrals/Success Stories would be greatly appreciated
Hello, I am looking to replace my company's Avaya Merlin Magix system with an Asterisk based PBX when our current lease is up. I had a meeting with upper management yesterday, and they would like some assurance that other companies are running Asterisk with success. We are a relatively small company, with about 70 total extensions. I would be purchasing a Dell Poweredge 2850

7941G - Any success stories?
Has anyone successfully gotten the 7941G working on Asterisk? We're looking at getting some of those instead of the 7940's, but there's really not much info out there about them. -- Aaron Daniel Computer Systems Technician Sam Houston State University amdtech@shsu.edu (936) 294-4198

Confbridge doesn't kick chan_local
I have a confbridge setup that feeds the conference from the ALSA microphone input (this is the conference leader) and then uses app_ices to send the conference audio to icecast. I start the conference leader like this: console dial 1000_admin at conferences I join the ices user to the confbridge with a call file: Channel: Local/1000 at conferences MaxRetries: 2 RetryTime: 60 WaitTime: 30

Looking for Large Scale SAMBA Install Success / Failure Stories
Samba Users, I am looking for a Large Scale SAMBA success or failure story. I have been using Samba for a long time without any issues, however replacing many Netware servers with Linux/Solaris running Samba is a different story. Here is what is running through my mind 1. Novell 4.x causes a never ending stream of problems, including attacking and flooding the network with NDS tree fragments.

Asterisk success stories in small-medium office environments?
I am the network administrator at a small (20-30 employee) financial company. We are in the process of moving offices and will be obtaining a VoIP phone system when we do. Right now, it's down to the 3com nbx100 series and *. Having lurked on *-user for a few weeks and having seen the nifty features of asterisk, I'm convinced. The price difference has pretty much sold my superiors.

ferret success stories?
Hi all, there was a recent thread[1] on rails-deploy about Ferret in which a lot of people complained of problems using it in production. I''ve been using Ferret (with DRb) for many months now with no serious issues. I''m assuming the posters know what they''re doing so I''m guessing they''re just using Ferret in higher-scale environments than me. I

Asterisk success stories in small-mediumoffice environments?
I'm not really looking for working configurations as much as I am looking for people who can say "This is a solid product and I trust my business to a solution running Asterisk." As far as pre-sales work... Well, tell that to my consultant. I'm quite excited about *. I've got my company sold on it, they just want some reassurance that it's ready for prime-time

pipe audio stream to external application
Hi, I'd like to know if there's an "easy way" of doing the following: SIP phone dials a custom feature code in Asterisk, call gets answered within a custom context (Answer()), anything that the caller says should be redirected/piped to an external application. Something like "monitor" except audio should be sent live. More like "app_ices" (or
