ezstream and OSX 10.4.2 Tiger...
Hello again,
I'm having a dickens of a time getting ezstream configured - it
requires libshout2 - so far so good.
I installed the darwin ports library, did a port install libogg and
then a port install libvorbis. Now, when I try to do a port install
libshout2, configure returns the following.
Any idea why it isn't working? Darwinport is configured to install

Building R on Interix 6.0
Dear all,
I have been trying to build R-2.5.1 on the Interix-6.0 Unix subsystem
that ships with Vista and everything looks fine during the configure
except towards the end when "sed" throws an error:
sed: 1: ""s/\*/\\\*/g"": invalid command code "
A few lines later I then get:
./configure: : bad substitution
So I guess sed is trying to do something and

Unable to compile icecast 2.2.0 under Suse 9.2
Thanks for the advice!
After I have managed to install all needed libs under Suse 9.2 everything
works just fine.
But now I have a new problem.
I need to install icecast2 under Debian 3 and the Debian package Server

Where can I get the icecast2 install package for Debian besides from the
Debian Server?
Can anyone name me a location on the web?

Dear members,
this can sound trivial for some people but I don't have experience on
compilation.
I'm trying to install R-2.2.1 on a laptop running Mandriva 2006. I
already installed many of the recommended packages/libraries but it
seems that something is still missing. The problem is that I cannot
identify... Could somebody give me some advise?

Trying to build ices-0.4 on ubuntu and "libshout not?usable"
Hi Ray:
With Ubuntu for the libshout library it will work if you install it using the apt-get command.
Apt-get install libshout-dev
I got ices to work on Ubuntu 14.04 with this.
Hope that helps.

All,
wondering if you can help, I had a perfectly working Mandrake 9.2 box
running on a via Mini ITX 5000/classic. Asterisk (zaptel and libpri) was
built from CVS head around 22nd July 2005. I decided now was a good time
to ghost it up....although humorous for you all suffice to say, I ended
up with a partitionless box!
Following the install script I had created I built an identical server

Installation problem
Dear Icecast community,
I am trying to install Icecast 2.2 on a new server running FC2.
At the start there was no GCC installed. I solved that using up2date.
Still I am getting no luck with the ./configure command.
The error message "configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails
sanity check" doesn't make sense to me.
I hope somebody can help me to overcome this
