Hi icecast, I'm having a "bizarre" problem with the m3u extension. I read somewhere to add ".m3u" in a link on a web page to make winamp load and play the stream. It works very fine, but ONLY in my LAN. Hi all, I set up ezstream to read a playlist.m3u file containing only MP3 encoded songs (to shuffle continuously) and push this to icecast2. This works, and I can also reencode to a lower bitrate. I would like to know if there is a way to reencode these MP3s into AAC-LC 128kpbs and then push the stream to icecast2. I'm doing this on a VM with only terminal access and no audio hardware, so

No, this is a relay of a Shoutcast server. Everything is configured in https on IceCast ( https://relay2.dgnet.be/ ) , except this value listenurl ( in Admin / Mountpoint) which in cannot change apparently. So the .m3u file is created with an http:// link ( instead of https:// ) But the stream is available and working in https://relay2.dgnet.be:443/different.ogg Danny From: Icecast

I'm now trying to use an m3u formatted list to pass to ezstream rather than stdin. Since all of my audio files are in .wav format, and I have oggenc, I see no reason to decode them before ogg encoding them. Is there a configuration I can use to make this happen?
