Hi guys, I have been running icecast and ices for streaming mp3 around my house for about 3 months now with no problems. now all of a sudden, I get login failed when I try to run ices. nothing has changed that I know of (I am the only person with access). I seem to remember this happened when I originally installed the system, but it was all so traumatic, I kinda forgot whjat I did :) any help

Can't find any recommended system specs on the website. What are they? Will it run well on a Celeron 1GHz? How about a 700Mhz? I'm asking because the company I'm hosting through is running a special on 700Mhz and 1Ghz servers, and if Icecast will run on these, I may just go ahead and lease 4-5 more to move my icecast stuff onto dedicated servers.

I have tried to set up Samba on my Solaris 2.5.1 with 2 interfaces (le0, le0:1 - one network card with two IP addresses). But all I could see is throught the default ports 137 and 139. Hello Everybody, I have configured a Linux box that does traffic shaping. Its working wonderfully fine, just as expected...Now i want to measure the bandwidth consumed by each of my hosts....But I dont want SNMP to run on all the hosts[as required by MRTG] I used iptraf on my linux box, but it only measures the bandwidth on interface basis only....
