On demand relay in icecast 2?
I'm using this on icecat 1.3.12 but it doesn't seem to work with icecast
2.0.0. The relay starts as soon as icecast is started and does not drop,
even if there are no clients. I've been over and over the docs and can't
figure out what I'm doing wrong.

on-demand stream relay
I have been searching through various archives, looking for the best
way to set up a stream so that the stream is only sent to the server
when there are listeners. It appears that to do this, I would need to
have a local icecast server on the machine where the stream
originates, and use the on-demand relaying to do the connection. This
seems like it will work, but has a few problems in

Fallback on-demand relay problem
We found an interesing issue that after a downed publishing point is
restored, the fallback relay doesn't stop relaying. We've tried everything,
but once /asf2 or /asf3 is envoked for /asf1 fallback reasons, they don't
stop relaying their source streams even though the output stream /asf1 has
returned to normal. Eventually we end up with /asf2 relaying indefinately

hello * !
i have a problem setting up a relay server:
icecast starts up fine, but when i do
-> relay pull -m /liveice http://mallia.zkm.de:8000/liveice

Connecting to relay [mallia.zkm.de:8000/liveice], please wait...
Could not connect to port 8000 on host mallia.zkm.de

I don't know if you included this, but the autogen part probably implies a
dependency on some (newer) versions of

AW: Complete list about possible options for the config file???
Hey Joern,
the Problem is that I installed an Debian package and how can I find out
which version was included?
But I guess it is the standart version and I will have a look at the C code

Re: Icecast Digest, Vol 13, Issue 45
This is regarding the Flash player...
There is nothing special that needs to be coded into your icecast 2.2.0 server to accomplish this.
I've been streaming it thru Flash now for 5 months. www.krushradio.com click on the click2listen button. It will launch my
microsite.
I'm streaming it on a Windows server, and I'm using my own software to drop xml files for the player to read the

and if so, is there anything that can already play it (e.g. ogg123)? I
know ogg123 can play static speex files, it's the streaming bit that gets

[Mesa-dev] nouveau_drv_video.so ?
Hi poma,
Seems like you're missed your question. "nouveau_drv_video.so ?" does
not mean much I'm afraid :-(
