Firewall issue - Port 80
Hello. we are trying to setup some rebroadcast of live feeds with IceCast 2 and darkice server on dedicated machines. With some customers we have problems to get the the mp3 stream through fiorewalls on port 8000. If I reconfigure the IceCast 2 server on port 80 it cannot create a listener socket on port 80. There is definitly no service on port 80 running. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seeking in a static served file
Hello. Is it possible to configure the Icecast server to seek in a static served file ? To use e.g. the slider of Winamp to forward and rewind inside a static served MP3 file from the Icecast server. We are serving the mp3s with .nsv endings since that is what the oddcast plugin seems to send by default when mp3 is

Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Darrel, Thanks for the help. I'm presuming then that I've misunderstood what is meant by "pull" vs. "push". I understood, I guess erroneously, that the context of 'push' relaying was from the perspective of the icecast2 receiving a 'pushed' stream. I believe now that I have this backwards, and that the context is from the part of icecast2 not being

404 error => stream redirect / relay
Is there any known way how to redirect all 404 errors to a stream? I can see many request to non-existing publish points (mostly old streams that are no longer active) and I would like to redirect them to one specific mount with audio loop (looped stream)... but I don't want to create relay streams manually for each non-existing pubpoint, but rather create one general "404 relay"...

404 error => stream redirect / relay
Well that is a new attribute to 2.4.1 but if i understand it correctly it might just be what you're looking for: try to set a mount with type "default" and set the fallback/relay on it. http://icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.4.1/config-file.html#mountsettings On Thu, Jun 4, 2015 at 1:45 PM, Ladislav Soukup <lsoukup at play.cz> wrote: > Is there any known way how to redirect all

404 error => stream redirect / relay
ooohhh :) interesting... didn't think about that... I was stuck on catching 404 and there is a new default mount config... I will try this... after quick test, there are some problems with the default mount, but it may be because of wrong configuration... I will have to experiment with the settings. thanks :) -- *Ladislav Soukup* *specialista v?voje IT aplikac?* mobil: +420 731 101 538

Version of R in saved workspaces
useRs and developeRs- Apologies for my naivety, but I just couldn't figure out how to open an old workspace (created using R 2.3.0) using R 2.3.0 and not R 2.4.0 which is currently happening. For all I know this has always been the case, but I'm having a problem with a function that doesn't work in 2.4.0 but does work in 2.3.1 (function is in the process of being fixed). So I would

Potential for R to conflict with other softwares
Hi. After some time, my collegues at the Food and Drug Adminstration have finally acknowledged R as a powerful statistical computing environment. However, in order to comply with the Office of Information and Technology standards there are a couple of questions about whether R could interfere with other software. As I'm more of a driver of the R software and not a mechanic, I was hoping for

trellis.focus with postscript device
Hello. First: R 2.3.1 on Windows XP. I am trying to add information (sample size) to the Trellis strips which I am successful using the trellis.focus function with the default Windows device. However, I typically use the postscript device as I use LaTeX and \includegraphic for incorporating graphs into stat reviews. Here's some example code (apologies for the lack of creativity and

(no subject)
Hi. I have a problem that I can't seem to find an optimal way of solving other than by doing things manually. I'm trying to subset a data frame by the number of observations that occurred at a given row but want to take into account the number of observations of preceding rows. Here's an example. I'm looking at intervals of data [10,20), [10, 30), ....., [10,120) which contain a
