If you are getting "login with invalid or missing password" it means one of a few things : * you have not selected Icecast2 as the server type in the DSP config * you are not using the most current versions of both icecast2 and oddcast (http://www.oddsock.org/icecast2 for that) * you are using the most current oddcast, but have <icylogin>1</icylogin> in your icecast2

The problem is that when getting the m3u file, the response isn't terminiated with a newline (\n or \r\n). peercast doesn't particularily like this.
