No audio with slackware for live station
Hy, I've just installed the latest release of icecast2 and ices from CVS. I have a linux Slackware 9.0 with the default packages. After install of ices and icecast & relative libraries (with no errors), I've started the icecast server. When starts ices, this is the debug: --- INFO ices-core/main ices started... INFO input-oss/oss_open_module Opened audio device /dev/dsp at 2

libshout crashing during pause
Hello. For various reasons I am writing my own source client. Most things seem to be working well. Connections work. shout_send() and shout_sync() seem to behave as expected. However, I find that if more than about 10-20 seconds passes between shout_send() calls then libshout crashes (takes my client down) during a subsequent shout_send(). Are there any rules about how often shout_send()

libshout nonblocking API
I propose the following changes to the libshout API to support nonblocking I/O: New functions: int shout_set_nonblocking(shout_t *self, unsigned int nonblocking): Instructs libshout to use nonblocking I/O. Must be called before shout_open (no switching back and forth midstream at the moment). unsigned int shout_get_nonblocking(shout_t *self): self-explanatory. Changed functions:

No audio with slackware for live station
Hello, hmmmm sweet problem. All I can recommend you is have you tried another player? I've heard that WinAmp3 has certain problems with .ogg streaming. No other idea :(. I've built chromium with " -fprofile-instr-generate -fsanitize=address" -- the performance looks good! The file format from r198638 is indeed rudimentary. Do you already know how the real output format will look like? Just to summarize what I think is important: - minimal size on disk, minimal amount of files - minimal i/o while writing to disk, no lockf or some such -

More libshout questions (more info)
Okay, this is interesting.... The metadata functions work fine with icecast (2.0.0) but do not work at all with NullSoft's ShoutCast server. . . Is that not supported by libshout? Just curious... adjacency matrix
Dear R experts, I am new to the list and R software. I need to convert arcview file to Winbugs having R has middle package. Got from friends that it is possible following the steps: 1. Converting arcview shapefile to "cgm clear text file" 2. Downloading "convert.r" to into R 2.1 use source("convert.r") 2.2 convert("filename_cgm") without the

llvm.annotation arguments
Hello all, According to *clang/lib/CodeGen/CodeGenFunction.cpp*, a LLVM annotation intrinsic call has 4 arguments: - llvm::Value *AnnotatedVal, - Builder.CreateBitCast(CGM.EmitAnnotationString(AnnotationStr), Int8PtrTy), - Builder.CreateBitCast(CGM.EmitAnnotationUnit(Location), Int8PtrTy), - CGM.EmitAnnotationLineNo(Location) However, this is what an annotation intrinsic *char

Unexpected ezstream exit
Hi, I've been working on a customized version of ezstream and I've been noticing that with a particular setup after playing particular tracks ezstream terminates. I say terminates because there are no error messages, it just exits. I've tried this on both my version and the stock version available via icecast.org just be certain and it happens with both versions. I'm

[LLVMdev] Performance regression on ARM
Hi Chandler, That's embarrassing how weird this part of clang is. I have a provisional patch which fixes the problem but underlines clang's problems. I will submit it tonight for comments. суббота, 18 октября 2014 г. пользователь Chandler Carruth написал: > > On Fri, Oct 17, 2014 at 7:51 AM, Anton Korobeynikov < > anton at korobeynikov.info >

OT: compiling oddcast DSP
Hi, There's a rather serious problem with the Oddcast DSP for Winamp, when you stream in vorbis format over icecast2, it drops ~ 1/2 sec of near the beginning of every song except the first. I tracked this down, it turns out oddcast drops the last vorbis page of every stream. (The DSP doesn't receive the new metadata until after the song has been playing for a second or two, which is

Obtain gradient at multiple values for exponential decay model
I have never found the R symbolic differentiation helpful because my functions are typically quite complicated, but was prompted by Steve Ellison's suggestion to try it out in this case: ################# reprex (see reprex package) graphdta <- read.csv( text = "t,c 0,100 40,78 80,59 120,38 160,25 200,21 240,16 280,12 320,10 360,9 400,7 ", header = TRUE ) nd <- c( 100, 250,

Updated version of patch
Attached is a patch against shout-python-0.2 which does two trivial but very useful things (1) The function "get_connected" is exported so that shout-python becomes usable in nonblocking mode. In the current version of shout-python "open" raises an exception in nonblocking mode. (2) The global interpreter lock is released in the potentially blocking functions

Clang adds the InlineHint attribute to functions that are explicitly marked inline, but not if they are defined in the class body.
