Bind9 doesn't updated - TSIG error with server: tsig verify failure
Hi Rowland,
I've added 'dns update command' on global section of smb.conf file and I've
configured namesever on '/etc/resolv.conf' as 127.0.0.1 (I've tried with
'kings' IP address too), but I don't know if this has worked. I've seen
some dns updates errors on 'systemctl status samba-ad-dc' though the same
command has returned status 'Active

Bind9 doesn't updated - TSIG error with server: tsig verify failure
Hi Rowland,
I've done how you have said and I've set nameserver on '/etc/resolv.conf'
file as 'king' IP (10.41.20.67) and add 'dns update command =
/usr/sbin/samba_dnsupdate --use-samba-tool' on
'/usr/local/samba/etc/smb.conf' file. I've still seen samba_dnsupdate fails
on 'systemctl status samba-ad-dc'. Is there other way to check if dns

ah. I think I see your problem. You don't want to use both of these port
values. If you want it to just use

Using winbindd socket directory for multiple domains
Hello
We have a setup on Ubuntu to join multiple AD domains and authenticate
using NTLM_auth with freeRadius. Since there're multiple ADs domains
involved, we were using "WINBINDD_SOCKET_DIR" environment variable to
use the correct cache directory for each domain.
Everything looks fine and all worked when using samba 4.7.9 running on
Ubuntu 16.04.
Now, we're upgrading to the

DNS Update Failed
Hi
I disabled even the windows server firewall to see if this is what it was
blocking, but it didn't solve it.
There appear to be Kerberos key errors, but the kinit administrator command
works correctly.
/usr/sbin/samba_dnsupdate:; TSIG error with server: tsig verify failure

[PATCH nbdkit] Add support for socket activation.
Socket activation (aka systemd socket activation) is a simple protocol
that lets you pass in an opened, listening socket to a server.
Supporting socket activation allows you to use a modern superserver to
serve infrequent NBD requests without needing nbdkit to be running the
whole time.
Although the protocol was invented by systemd, it has been implemented
in a few other places, and the protocol

Hi,
Sorry for my english.
I've got a problem configuring samba as DC on the newest Debian. While
trying to login from windows 10, there is an error, it ask for name and
password (when user and pass are incorrect, windows tells about it). In
/var/log/samba/log.samba there is an entry:

Hello,
I've been using samba for a few years but I use it only occasionally.
Today, I've found out that since the upgrade to 4.9.2, smbd wouldn't
start.
I use Arch Linux. The command that starts samba on the systemd service
is this:
/usr/bin/smbd --foreground --no-process-group
These are my configuration file's [global] parameters:
