of the time its 120 kbytes but every 3-4 time its 120 or 116 kbytes. The config file is attached. As you can see I am starting two icecast streams, one 128 kbits and one 64. It also leaks with just one stream. multiple liveice sources
Hi, I am trying to stream two different sources with two soundcards using liveice and icecast, all from single Linux box. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I tried creating two sets in the liveice config file where I specified different devices. No erros but the latter source was streamed on both mount points. Running two instances of liveice talking to one instance of icecast failed.

Hmm... I haven't had that problem with the KPFA servers. I just run two different configuration files. From my rc.local file... echo Starting local icecast servers /usr/local/icecast/bin/icecast -c /usr/local/icecast/conf/icecast.kpfa.conf -b > /dev/null 2>&1 /usr/local/icecast/bin/icecast -c /usr/local/icecast/conf/icecast.kpfb.conf -b > /dev/null 2>&1 Tim On Mon, Sep

The easiest way to accomplish this is to create a 2nd directory containing liveice & its config file. You can't run 2 instances in the same directory - their temp files will overwrite each other. Contrary to what others have written, liveice works just fine once it's set up. That's not always easy, though... :-) -bg ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kristján Guðni

Hey, Tim. His problem was with liveice - which only allows one instance per directory because it uses named pipes with hard-coded filenames - not with icecast. > Hmm... Darkice memory leak
Tried both the binary and compiling the src. Both leaking. It the setting suggested in "INSTALL.lame" didn't work and so I suspected the compiliation settings so I tried various settings. The compiler version is the one coming with RedHat 7.2 gcc3-3.0.1-3. Kristjan <p><p><p><p>-----Original Message----- From: owner-icecast@xiph.org

ext3 on a KT133A chipset
Hi, With 2.4.14 and the ext3 patch on redhat7.2 with my KT133A Athlon system, the kernel panics on boot up just after starting init. I removed the ext3 patch and the kernel did not panic (However I could not mount my ext3 file systems :) ). Is this a proble with ext3 of something different? Thanks for any help. BaRT

ups, sorry for fuzzy description. I use "top" to watch the running processes. It updates every 5 seconds. I am running RedHat 7.2, download from one of Redhats mirros. Haven't installed any updates of Redhat 7.2. The box is a fresh PC with Amd Athlon 1700XP, 128MB, two SoundBlaster 16 PCI using OSS drivers. Any info missing? Printing problems from W2k/NT4
Hello, I recently upgraded our file server from RedHat6.2 to RedHat7.2. This upgraded our (working) Samba 2.0.x to 2.2.1a-4. Now, the windows98 machines on the network can print without problems. The 2K/NT4 machines cannot print, but they experience no problems with file sharing operations (writeable /home/$USER). The 2K/NT4 machines had been printing fine prior to the upgrade. I won't

Unfortunately I can't reproduce your memory leak reports. For example, here is the line about my production darkice instance from top: PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND 27516 root 20 0 3564 3564 1340 S 95.6 1.3 47:06 darkice <p>this as after approx 50 minutes from start, but the memory load doesn't change for the whole 4 hours it

trying to create a WinNT rescue disk
I have probably a rather unusual problem. I have a computer with WinNT already installed on it, plus RedHat7.2, and would like to try and create a repair disk for the WinNT install (I'm no longer able to boot NT, though I have no problem starting the NT bootloader - after I choose Windows NT 4.0 and it starts to boot, I get a BSOD with reference to being unable to access the bootloader (which

sharing a private key with other local users of the same group
Hello, we're using the portable OpenSSH (3.8.1p1) with Linux, HP-UX and Solaris. After starting the ssh-agent and adding a private key, I changed the permissions of the socket to 0770, so other users of the same group have access to it. With HP-UX and Solaris this works fine, although with Linux and older OpenSSH versions (3.4p1/SuSE8.1,3.1p1/RedHat7.2). With 3.8.1p1 and Linux

Win2k & Samba - beginner
Hi, I have a work provided Notebook with Win2k Pro and configured per company specs. At home I have loaded Redhat7.2 and would like to be able to share files between the 2 as required when I bring the Notebook home. I have loaded Samba and attempted to configure using Swat, but still not much luck. I can print from the Notebook via the LAN connection to a printer connected to the Linux box

Change in NA_REAL behavior (PR#1886)
Full_Name: David Larsen Version: 1.5.1 OS: Redhat 7.2, w98, w2000 Submission from: (NULL) (128.206.66.65) I have c code that produces vector sequences for plotting. I use NA_REAL to create an NA that will pass back to R to break the line. This code worked fine upto R-1.5.0 It continues to work on Redhat7.2 Linux but on both windows98 and windows2000 the NA_REAL returns -6.623485e-229 on both
