choosing icecast and creating my own streamer
Hi all, is icecast good for me? I am interested in delivering some audio + mpeg4 animation through the internet (live streaming). my mpeg4 animation is supposed to be smaller than the audio o my questions are: - would icecast, as it is, support a different kind of stream (my own type) or do i have to mux the audio and video before into a special format? or maybe it supports only audio? - it

command line .ogg streamer
I'm terribly sorry if this is off-topic, but I've scoured the web for hours looking for a working .ogg file streamer. I have thousands of ogg files, and I want to be able to set up a playlist, enabling any computer on the network to listen to the stream. Sure, I did it with icecast and liveice when I was using mp3's but now icecast doesn't come with liveice, (I found the source,

Windows Streamer for Icecast2 ???
Help! we're trying to set up an online radio station for Columbus day here in Denver and can't seem to find a good working streamer for a windows machine! Icecast2 works fine when I use the ices2 streamer on the same linux box. icecast with WinAmp as the streamer
I am running a similar configuration. I also have the oddcastDSP plugin to connect to the icecast. It's version 2 alpha 1 though. The normal icecast (version 1) can't stream ogg, if you want to to this, you need icecast 2 (which has just the name icecast on the xiph cvs server. Be sure to select the right server to stream to in the oddcastDSP plugin and see that you have properly edited

[LLVMdev] MC-JIT Streamer 1/3
I cleaned up the indentation in the three patches and attached them. Please let me know if there are other issues. The patches should all apply cleanly with the latest revision. I will wait with submitting more patches until the MCJITSTreamer has been reviewed and checked in. [LLVMdev] MC-JIT Streamer 1/3
I was delayed creating the smaller patches, but finally I had some time to put the first set together. There are three small patches, the first two are classes the MCJITStreamer uses, and the last patch is the MCJITStreamer class itself. - Jan --- On Sun, 8/1/10, Daniel Dunbar <daniel at zuster.org> wrote: > From: Daniel Dunbar <daniel at zuster.org> > Subject: Re: [LLVMdev]

theora streamer for Android anyone?
ola, i am one of the developers of http://giss.tv, some people here might know about it. we use since 5 years some tools ( gstreamer, ffmpeg2theora, pure data, ... ) to make Ogg/Theora/Vorbis streams related to media-hacktivism and social movements. lately, we realized how important it becomes to have lighter tools in some contexts where you cannot set a medialab and a decent network, like in
