Error: Client not receiving data fast enough
Jack, tried the CVS version still getting:
-> [05/Aug/2001:12:25:01] Kicking client 4
[cr7890-a.wlfdle1.on.wave.home.com] [Too many errors (client not receiving
data fast enough)] [listener], connected for 0 seconds, 26010 bytes
transfered. 0 clients connected
Any idea what it means? Is it a mis-configuration? Sometime to do w/
LAME? I have no clue where to start

Error: Client not receiving data fast enough
Hmmm, I am using Winamp for my client, will upgrade it, but it works for
other shoutcast/icecast streams. There has to be something buggered up in
my config somewhere. It sounds as if Ices is sending data too quickly to
icecast(?), will blow it away and re-complie it and see what happens.
Thanks for the help so far.
yeah, essentialmix.ca is directly related to the Essential mix broadcasts

Yet another LAME re-encoding question
Yes, I have checked the archives :)
I am running Ices 0.2.2 with icecast 1.3.10 and LAME 3.87. I have
compiled Ices without any problems, it found lame.h and the libraries, my
problem is that when I run ices, it doesn't re-encode the files. This is
the command line I am using to play around with:
./ices -b 64 -H 64 -F playlist -h localhost -p 8000 -P letmein -r -v
The log shows nothing

Error: Client not receiving data fast enough
Hey all,
I've been having the same "Client not receiving data fast enough" errors.
I've got icecast configured so as not to send info to ANY yp directories.
Even on a quiet 100MB connection between client and server, I can stay
connected for only about 5 minutes at a shot if I'm lucky. I'm using
Icecast 1.3.11, and Shout 0.8.0. The files I'm streaming are all

kicking " client not receiving data fast enough "
Hi there !
As i tried that radio finally installed, i got that message from the
server after ~ 1 minute ...
I reduced and forced the streaming to 44000 instead of the 128000
proposed as default_bitrate in shout.conf.
Now i can listen for 12 minutes and 46 seconds before i got the message.
what's going on ? Should i modify the throttle parameter ?
I have a DSL access for information

Ok, I have seen that this is a common issue, and has been answered many times.... but I think mine is a bit different. Sorry if I
am just being thick.

procmail, and the care and feeding of mailing list content received
Some threads just go on too long. Personally I think a troll
has hijacked the main centos list again and is inducing food
fight behaviours while that troll perfectly 'innocently'
asserting that it is just respoding to all email.

TDM800P not detecting answer fast enough
Hi All,
I have a server running Fedora 14, kernel 2.6.31.14, Asterisk
1.6.2.17.2 and Dahdi 2.4.1.
I have the wctdm24xxp+ loaded with a Wildcard TDM800P with 8 FXO ports
When a call is placed extension to extension, there is no
problem... When an extension is used to dial out, the called number
answers, but the server only detects the answer about 3 seconds later ..
The outgoing

Can CELT / libopus on a ARM cortex M3 or M4 (fast enough ?)
Hello everyone,
For a private project I would like to make a new Internet Intercom
device (for my kids and me).
At the moment I use a separate DSP with Ogg/Vorbis (VS1053) but I like
a challenge ;-)
Is a eg. ST32F10x (cortex m3) or a new ST32F40x (cortex m4) powerful
enough to do encoding and decoding ?
Any existing projects to learn from?
Thanks for your time,

TDM400P Not hanging up fast enough
Hi List,
I have a client who has a TDM400P with 4 FXO. He has a problem them when some one calls, then hangs up it takes a good 10-15 seconds or more of the card to realize that the line was hung up on. The phones keep reigning After a bit it hangs up on the line. Also there has been some hanging. (After a user on the PBX side hangs up the card does not "release the line"). I am using

Sieve not fast enough after upgrade?
I've upgraded mine Dovecot 1.0.15 to 1.2.4 also moved to new Sieve. I

setflag "\\Seen";
}
It basically mark my own messages which are saved to Sent folder. When I
was on 1.0.15 I never seen unread count in Thunderbird, but suddenly

Vsftpd & Iscsi - fast enough
To extend space on our 64-bit centos FTP servers, we are considering
setting them up to work with an existing PromiseRAID system via iscsi.
-just curious if anyone here knows if iScsi is fast enough to serve up
all the images?
-might it be something where we get dedicated cards and put the iScsi
traffic on its own Vlan?
Just curious if this would hold up under alot of traffic, like weather

R as a non-functional language
I'm reading Torgo (2010) *Data Mining with
R*<http://www.liaad.up.pt/~ltorgo/DataMiningWithR/code.html>in
preparation for a class I'll be teaching next quarter. Here's an
example
that is very non-functional.

Still confused about classes
Hi,
I'm still confused about how to find out what methods are defined for a
given class. For example, I know that
> today <- Sys.Date()
will produce an object of type Date. But I'm not sure what I can do with
Date objects or how I can find out.
> ?Date
refers me to the Date documentation page. But it doesn't tell me how, for
example, to extract the current year from a
