FLAC: flac t-shirt picture
Hi, Is there a picture somewhere on the Internet of the FLAC t-shirt? Then I can see how it looked because I'm making my own T-shirt just with my inkjet printer and T-shirt transfer paper. I wanted to make it the same as the original because it seems there are not T-shirts left :( I hope somebody has a picture of it thanks in advance -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

flac vs. mp3 decoder
hi I was wondering if Josh could tell me what the difference between the cpu load (in %) of a flac vs. mp3 encoder is on the same cpu or an estimation of it . I want to have an idea of this because I'm wondering if playing flac files would use more cpu (in %) then playing mp3 files on my pocket pc. So if I would know this, I would know which decoder will empty my battery the most quickly.

FLAC: getting compression level using metaflac
Why isn't the compression level added in a metadata block by the flac encoder itself (just like the encoder version)? In this way all programs that read the file can see what compression level was used. thx 2007/7/4, Scot Thompson <scot.thompson@cox.net>: > > This has been asked many times. The answer is no. T-shirt ideas
Digium is planning to make some Asterisk/Digium t-shirts. We'd like to have people submit t-shirt designs from which we might select one in addition to whatever we might come up with on our own. 1) The t-shirt should be primarily for Asterisk but should contain the Digium logo somewhere, too. 2) Designs will need to be disclaimed. Just send your design ideas to webmaster@digium.com and

[Flac-users] Help with Streaming FLAC via httpd
Using the 1.0.4 versions of the FLAC decoder plugin for both XMMS (under Linux and FreeBSD) and WinAMP (under Win2k and WinXP) I can't get streaming to work from a web server. Has anyone actually done it or seen it done? If so, do you have a URL I can look at? I have tried setting my web server's MIME type for served flac files to both audio/flac and audio/x-flac. Ideas for Rails Shirt Graphics
I''ve had a couple ideas for Ruby on Rails shirt graphics for a little while now: 1. "Fuck You" superimposed over, oh, probably a Ruby gem. Or Rails of some sort. 2. "Ruby on Rails" superimposed over rails of cocaine. Maybe also with a graphic of a crazed looking coder. Anybody got graphics? Or can make them? Heh! Joe -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Re: James Chapman FLAC 1.1.2 File Filter for Cool Edit Pro 2
Hello, Different how? When displaying the wave in Cool Edit (it's to say, the FLAC file itself is opened and decoded through the Chapman filter), the audio wave result shows little differences : changes in frequencies at a given time, lower or higher; not many changes, but changes! I attribute this to the filter, because when decoding with your soft, already used for encoding, no problem

music complexity
hi, Is it true the flac encoder can compress music better when the complexity of the music is low? I'm compressing some tunes of old MS DOS games (pc speaker, sound blaster 16 OPL3 chip music) and I saw a *huge* compression ratio (some files where only 1/3th of the original file in filesize after compressing to flac), so I was wondering if less complex music always means better compression.
