Yo All, I am trying to install Samba 3 beta on my RH 8 machine. At the installation of red hat I chosed not to install samba. I downloaded beta rpm for Red Hat and when I try insatling it I get a msg. like "flie blabla conflicting with file from samba-2.2.7'' or something like that. Now I try runing comand rpm -q samba end that tels me there is no rpm samba. Not installed! Right?

I was wondering if there is a FLAC plugin for Windows Media Player? Just from doing web-searches, it doesn't look like there is, at least as far as I can tell. So, if there isn't a plug-in for WMP, well, why isn't there? And is there anyone working on one?

Hello all, I used metaflac to add replay-gain to a lot of flac-files. But with few of them metaflac exit and sais "Speicherzugriffsfehler" which I translate to "memory access error" or somethin like this. Neither flac nor metaflac seem to have any option for printing the tag info to stdout. Any ideas? mike

Hello there, I thought I would contribute to this wonderful project but noting a simple but problematic bug in speex_bits_read_whole_bytes(). SITUATION: I have a large stream of frames with NO breaks or length indicators inbetween each frame. For this reason, I call speex_bits_read_whole_bytes() and fill it to MAXIMUM in a loop while calling speex_decode() until there are no more bytes to read.

Winamp3 is broken according to some posts here. Try Winamp 2.91 or the latest XMMS. Of course, XMMS requires the xmms-mp3 libraries. Try that and see if it helps.
