[Flac-users] Fingerprint Verification Problem
Hi, Amazing work you folks have been doing! I don't know if this is the proper place to talk about this, but this looks like the best place to start! I've been messing with the latest version of FLAC and as an end-user I have this problem. The verification process currently does not use the fingerprint file during verification. So, only the integrity of the FLAC file is checked.

CTI in ActiveRecord
I search an plugin or gem, but don''t find nothing satisfactory. I believe to be stranger a technology that nails the DRY, have that create you vary equal tables, instead of using inheritance. Exists an soluction for this? I want a solution similar to this: create_table :people |t| do t.column :name t.column :address end create_table :customer |t| do t.column :person_id

accessing outlook pst files w/ samba
Hi, I'm in the process of trying to convince my organization to move from an exchange server, to a samba solution, while retaining their original windows environments, including Outlook clients. I thought I had all my issues covered, and suddenly I'm facing a show stopper. it turns out that a lot of my users "documentation" has been stored on "public folders" on the

[Flac-users] flac -t script / test vs. verify
First, many thanks to Kerry Hoath (and some to a friend who is not on this list, but mostly to Kerry) for help with my batch file question. It's working, pretty much, but I'm still tweaking it, and I'll share the results when it's polished to my satisfaction. Related question: according to the longer help file, if you use the "verify" option during encoding, flac checks

How to relocate $HOME directory
Hi there, As you know, $HOME is generally located at "/home/$username" by default. I would like to re-locate all users' $HOME directories to something like "/export/home/$username" without having a hassle/trouble. Initially, I've thought of just copying them to the new directory (under /export/home/xxx), but guessed it might trouble for the normal use (I'm pretty

Bayesian question (problem using adapt)
In the following code I have created the posterior density for a Bayesian survival model with four parameters. However, when I try to use the adapt function to perform integration in four dimensions (on my old version of R I get an error message saying that I have applied a non-function, although the function does work when I type kernel2(param0, theta0), or on the newer version of R the computer

Multiple error bar plots
Dear R-lister I have a question about how to create multiple error bar plots. I found that I can use an "errbar" function from Hmisc package to create one error bar plot in which there are multiple data points (x, y) with the error bars. Thus, I know that I can get "one" error bar plot which consists of many data points. However, I did not find a way to put

how to get flac fingerprint from a wav?
Great info. I found some descriptions of st5 (md5 fp) and ffp, where I assume that "fp" is just a Taper abbreviation for "fingerprint" - or signature as it's called in the flac header. However, I could not find these utilities or source code. What I found looked like instructions for a gui-based program. I think it would be easier to support Mac if st5 were

Euro LLVM videos finally online - proposal to use torrents for sharing
It's no magic, to get good download speed with torrents you need many seeders or few seeders with high bandwidth. I'm not sure LLVM videos will attract enough interest for many seeders to be online... The easy solution would be to have a LLVM channel with all videos on Youtube which has high qualty CDN. 2015-09-08 11:20 GMT+03:00 Adam Husár <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org>: >

nlme-problem
Hi, I have a problem with fitting a nonlinear mixed-effects model to my data. I was able to fit quite simple exponential model but now I?m trying to fit the following Gompertz model: > gomp<-nlme(paino~b0+b1*exp(-exp(-b2*(daydeg.scale-b3))), data=group1, fixed=b0+b1+b2+b3~1, start=c(b0=150, b1=3000, b2=0.6, b3=2500)) I?m getting the following error: Error in chol((value + t(value))/2) :

Anyone Having Any Luck Downloaing the DVD ISO?
I've been trying for 2 weeks to download the dvd iso torrent... Shows a ton of seeders, few leechers, but very poor performance.. (I'm correctly setup for torrents and get fast downloads normally) Only like 4% downloaded and crawling. I've tried the trackers from every one of the mirror sites. I can't use the net install because the systems I am installing are on a closed network.
