Winamp3 Player Plugin error
The Winamp3 hit the streets yesterday, so i gave the FLAC Winamp3 plugin a
shot (dragged cnv_flacpcm.wac to the Wacs/ directory, yadda yadda) and
received the following error message when starting Winamp3:

library MSVCRTD.dll.

Winamp 3 plugin and flac 1.0.3
When I copy the winamp 3 plugin into the appropriate winamp folder, and
start winamp, Winamp complains that it cannot find MSVCRTD.DLL
Was the plugin mistakenly compiled as Debug and shipped that way?
Any way for me to get the winamp3 plugin that isn't debug? I do not have
MSVC++ to recompile it.

Q: WinAmp3 Plugin
I just installed WinAmp3 on my machine and then needed to
install the WinAmp3 plugin for FLAC.
Now, when I start WinAmp, it says it needs MSVCRTD.DLL
This is the debug version of the MS Visual C library.
Ok, now I tracked down a version of MSVCRTD.DLL
(File Version 6.0.8797.0) and it prevents WinAmp from crashing
but ... it still doesn't play the FLAC files.
These FLAC files were

Hi,
I've just downloaded the newest version of Winamp3, which comes with ogg support by default. Up until now, I was using winamp 2.78 with
Peter's excelent plugin, and I really loved the tag editor. Sadly, the new plugin doesn't have this great tag editor. I was looking through Peter's
website, but the only thing he had there was

linker error in debug
Hi!
I'm trying to make a debug build of my application
which uses the oggvorbis sdk. The libraries that it
uses are:
ogg_static_d.lib
vorbis_static_d.lib
vorbisfile_static_d.lib
When I try to build it, I get these linker errors:

MSVCRTD.lib(MSVCR71D.dll)

Vorbisfile Linker Question
I'm having some trouble getting vorbisfile to link into my project under Windows. I downloaded all the source, and after re-compiling all the dlls and libs with my project's proper settings (Multithreaded, 1-byte alignment), everything works peachy when I use the dlls from the *_dynamic project files. When I try to use the *_static .libs though I get the following linker error:

[Flac-users] MD5 digest doesn't match
I can't figure out how to verify flac md5 signatures. The docs say flac
does an md5 over the unencoded audio data, but I can't reproduce it. I'm
using flac 1.0.2 and Ron Rivest's reference md5 implementation.
$ md5 temp.wav
MD5 (temp.wav) = a7c92c4a656b2be2582f77c51b68a623
$ flac temp.wav
$ metaflac temp.flac

[Flac-users] streaming in xmms?
Sorry for all the "my plugin don't work" questions...
I can't seem to get http streaming of flac files to work in xmms. When I
open an m3u with http URLs, the xmms window just says
Invalid FLAC file: "http://localhost/foo.flac"
This is with flac 1.0.3 and xmms 1.2.7.
This is supposed to work, right?
Thanks,
steven.

Streaming flac problems!!
Hello,
My name is Vincent and I have some difficulties to realize my project.
Indeed, I must developp a streaming flac client/server and I have some
difficulties to find detailed information about this.
I chose to use the platform Ices/Icecast to do my project. I took the Vorbis
streaming like example but the library has not the same structure as the
flac library.
So , I send this message in

icecast2, ogg, mp3, etc
Hi,
Just wanted to clarify, can icecast2 not read OR broadcast any mp3, or
can it just not broadcast mp3 (but still play from a playlist)? I know the
quality would be dropped if it had to reencode them though.
And what's up with that POS Winamp3, it doesn't even play gg streams?!?
I use xmms, but we have winamp3 on a demo computer, it just sits and keeps
prebuffering. I need something

OT: compiling oddcast DSP
Hi,
There's a rather serious problem with the Oddcast DSP for Winamp, when you
stream in vorbis format over icecast2, it drops ~ 1/2 sec of near the
beginning of every song except the first. I tracked this down, it turns
out oddcast drops the last vorbis page of every stream. (The DSP doesn't
receive the new metadata until after the song has been playing for a
second or two, which is

[LLVMdev] compiler-rt with MSVC 2013
compiler-rt libs must be built with /MT, so the MSVS build is doing
the wrong thing here.
