serialised cmml examples
Are there any examples of serialised CMML in Ogg about?
I know about <http://media.annodex.net/cmmlwiki/>, but
the .axv files you can download contain only:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE cmml SYSTEM "cmml.dtd"><head/>

OggPCM family
In one of the last monthly meetings it was decided that OggPCM is
ready and all it needs is an implementation (for instance, in ogg123).
The problem is that nobody seems available to do it. If either
Martin or Sampo would like to work on it, I believe nobody will
oppose.
CMML and Skeleton implementations are far more urgent right now, though.
I have changed the main page in the XiphWiki to

How Ogg mappings translate into the codecs parameter in Ogg media types
Silvia,
I don't think I follow your line of thought.

What version information? Like libvorbis 1.2.1? If so, I can't see
much of a point in that.

I think we are likely to settle for CMML for everything text in Ogg.

How Ogg mappings translate into the codecs parameter in Ogg media types
Hi all,
I am trying to set up the codecs table in the wiki and we have played
a bit with Dirac to find out what existing tools write into the
header.
The Schroedinger implementation by Fluendo uses (or used to use)
"KW-DIRAC" as the identifier in the Ogg header.
"BBCD" is the identifier of each of the Dirac data packages.
More recently, I read that the Dirac Sequence header

I agree - we should use only hex or octal, but not mixed.
Cheers,
Silvia.

working system for months suddenly stopped today with Failed to authenticate on INVITE to
I am getting a log message of
Failed to authenticate on INVITE to ...
after months of a system working. I have changed nothing...
What can cause this. I did some searching and tried setting
in sip.conf (canreinvite to both yes and no - made no difference)
by default I had no entry at all when this started happening.
I am using sip phones, grandstream, cisco combination and
all running sip.

All Circuits are Busy Now
I have downloaded and installed Asterisk@home and I have installed X-Lite on my Windows machine and I am able to connect it to the Asterisk server. I went ahead an created an account on Broadvoice today and followed the directions on http://voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+settings+Broadvoice and http://foo.robotics.net/mediawiki-1.3.10/index.php/Asterisk_Setup but when ever I try and make a call from

"Bad serialised query" error
Hi all,
We've struck a problem when using remote queries and hoping someone can
offer some guidance. I haven't managed to get a C++ reproduction in the
test suite, but I have got a demo that fails using Python:
import xapian
db = xapian.remote_open('localhost', 8100)
qp = xapian.QueryParser()
qp.set_database(db)
query = qp.parse_query('test')

ok i admit this statement came as a surprise for me.
cmml is about metadate/annotations, how can it be replaced
by KATE ( which is mainly about subtitles as far as i can see?

Hi BCXA,
CMML is deprecated. You should use KATE instead.
Cheers,
Silvia.

Re: Embedding int32's within threora & vorbis files
What do you want to use OggPCM for? Why not use AU or WAV?
I can only see an advantage in using OggPCM if you want it annotated
using CMML or want to mix it with another codec, such as Theora.
Cheers,
Silvia.

[LLVMdev] Several questions about LLVM
Hello,
I'm new to LLVM but I see lots of potential on it for something that I'm
working on.
I have a few questions about it:
1) I know there is a MSIL backend which is still at an experimental
phase. When will it be ready? The same question for the MIPS backend.
2) Is there any plan or work being done to implement a Java backend?
3) I saw the passes feature. I think this can be very

This is roughly what was suggested the last time around.
A possible refinement is to provide a mapping from identifiers
to IDs so you could say "?oggid=myvideo".

More generally, in a stream in the Ogg file.
Codecs are streams, but so are things like
Ogg Skeleton. Information about Metadata
