Quickstart & Samples
Ok -- I''ve calmed down to a slow boil now after discovering that once
again, one or more of the sample configurations are broken and 100''s of
newbies have downloaded them.
Rather than removing all links to the Quickstart Guide, I''ve placed the
following disclaimer on the top of the guide:

Quickstart Guide
I am in Australia and I have a friend in the USA. We both have asterisks installed and dial tone.
What is the easiest way to set us both up so we each have an extension number to call each other on?
Also, There is a lot of information in the Asterisk's manual. Has anyone produced a quick start guide? I could certainly do with one.
Thanks

1.4 Samples
It has been brought to my attention that the samples configuration on the
Sourceforge site were not updated for 1.4. To ensure that this doesn''t
happen again, I have remove the /pub directory at Sourceforge and have
updated the QuickStart guides as follows:
= English versions link to www.shorewall.net/pub/shorewall/LATEST.samples
= French versions link to

Subversion, testing a quickstart guide, version control for a Rails project
I just burned 3 hours figuring out Subversion, so I made up a little quickstart guide.
Try the guide and see if you can get version control going in ... say ... 30 minutes?
I assume your situation is:
You are setting up version control on a new subdirectory on your
computer.
You will copy your entire rails project directory tree into the new
subdirectory after you get subversion running.

Updated Shorewall build and publish scripts
Attached please find updated build and publish scripts. They set the
''ulink.target'' parameter appropriately when converting docbook->HTML. I
have always hacked my xhtml/params.xsl file to set this parameter; these
updated scripts make that abomination unnecessary.
Paul/Mike: It might be a good idea to add a CVS project for these scripts.

Hello,
I published two new guides:

A documentation, how to set up Samba as an NT4 PDC. I called
it "Quickstart", because it covers only the basic stuff.

For those of you having Samba DCs and Windows DCs in
their domain. This is a
