Hi all, I know this isnt really the right place to ask but does anyone know why when I install Red Hat 7.2 and pick Samba to be installed it doesnt seem to be (either that or its not set to auto start and I dont know how to load it). I've even upgraded from 6.1 (Samba confirmed working) and the upgrade also turns Samba or disables/uninstalls it. Anyone got any ideas on this? Thanks Ash

I was never able to build it in a way I feel comfortable on Fedora. I would want to build it using an RPM build process. I think I want an MIT build but I don't know what all I would need to build either way. I thought it was pretty close when I saw an MIT build in Fedora 23 with AD support.
