[PATCH 1/2] Use C locale when reading ReplayGain tag
When a locale is in effect that does not use the point as the decimal mark (e.g., sv_SE or de_DE, which use a comma) and a ReplayGain tag is read for --apply-replaygain-which-is-not-lossless, the gain value was misinterpreted (e.g., "-2.29" truncated to "-2"). This is fixed by resetting the locale to "C" temporarily, based on Josh Coalson's fix of the dual case

make fullcheck fails
fullcheck target was removed from test/Makefile.am, but not from <root>/Makefile.am. So `make fullcheck' fails with the following message: ... *** No rule to make target `fullcheck'. Stop. ...

make fullcheck fails

My point was that Makefile.am in the root folder still have fullcheck target. So it make sense either to remove it from this file: diff --git a/Makefile.am b/Makefile.am index ba09d1d..4b81e6e 100644 --- a/Makefile.am +++

R-2.7.0 RC (2008-04-20 r45403) fails fullcheck
A strange thing happened. After installing the most recent RC version of 2.7 (2008-04-20 r45403) I compiled it as usual with no errors. After installing it I ran "make fullcheck". I got as far as testing recommended packages and I got the following: ... -------- Testing package foreign -------- Running examples in 'foreign-Ex.R' ... Comparing `foreign-Ex.Rout' to

Anything else for Flac 1.3.0?
I have also run a `make fullcheck` on Mac OS X 10.8. Only one test fails: FLAC__TEST_LEVEL=1 FLAC__TEST_WITH_VALGRIND=no ./test_grabbag.sh ./test_grabbag.sh: line 39: 1N: value too great for base (error token is "1N") make[1]: *** [fullcheck] Error 1 make: *** [fullcheck] Error 2 The cause is that in test_grabbag.sh, line 39, it uses `date +%N` to get nanoseconds, which is unsupported

problem with make fullcheck on Sparc Solaris 8
I have been trying out R-1.6.0 tarballs (2002-9-10 and 2002-9-17) on: arch sparc os solaris2.8 system sparc, solaris2.8 status beta major 1 minor 6.0 year 2002 month 09 day 17 language R As you see form above, R-1.6.0 compiles fine and works. However, when I "make fullcheck" I get the following error: running code in 'tools-Ex.R' ... OK

Anything else for Flac 1.3.0?
Hi all, In my latest commit I have updated all version strings and copyright dates. I am now going to do a little testing (and encourage anyone else to do the same) and hopefully release in the next day or so. Check level not passed to tests
Hi all, For testing a few mingw-builds I tried to use ./configure --disable-thorough-testing (because testing in a virtual machine through mingw isn't really fast) but it turned out this setting doesn't do anything. It turns out these configuration options aren't passed to the test scripts at all. I do not fully understand how Makefiles or environment variables work, but my

flac-1.3.1pre1
Hi all, As people may have seen there's a pre-release here: http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/flac/beta/ Specifically: flac-1.3.1pre1.tar.xz : The source code flac-1.3.1pre1-win.zip : Windows 32 and 64 bit binaries Please test. I'm particularly interested in hearing about the windows binaries which were cross compiled from Linux to Windows. Unfortunately there is a bug

make dllimport/dllexport attributes work with mingw (and others)
The following patch changes export.h so that the dllimport/dllexport attributes work with mingw/mingw-w64 and others: - changes _declspec keyword to __declspec: the former may not be defined by some toolchains. - changes the _MSC_VER condition to universally _WIN32: MSVC, as well as GCC supports this. Attached patch: declspec.diff Regards. -- O.S. -------------- next part --------------

autotools buglet
I had trouble building because configure.in did not include the test_grabbag/picture/Makefile entry for Makefile generation. This patch rectifies that situation. This is with flac cvs as of this morning. Updated CFLAGS patches and make test compilation conditional
Hi Erik, I've found a middleground for the problem of setting default CFLAGS. I've gone back to setting them if {C,CXX,CPP,LD}FLAGS are unset at the onset of the configure script (i.e., the user hasn't specified anything) and then proceed to set them to the defaults as before. This has been suggested before: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/autoconf/2006-04/msg00022.html In

How about a --min-size option, next to --max-size
There's a rather old bug report in Debian's bug tracking system (see http://bugs.debian.org/27126) about wanting to be able to specify the maximum file size, as well as the minimum file size. Here's the text: Sometimes, it's useful to specify a file size range one is interested in. For example, I'd like to keep an up-to-date mirror of Debian, but I currently

Tests not aborting when appropriate
Hi, I was running make fullcheck when I found something weird. After editing the *expect.meta files , make fullcheck ran all tests and said "All tests passed", but the output included this (this is the last tests from test_metaflac.sh) > [...] > test case60: --remove --block-type=PICTURE... Thanks Mehdi. My pass clones the functions within a module in order to have the original function and an exact copy of the same function but with a different name, i.e. sum() and sum_parallel(). After my pass I will run ThreadSanitizer instrumentation pass only on the new copy of the functions, i.e. only the “_parallel” functions will be instrumented by tsan. In some programs that I am

R 1.6.0 beta
R 1.6.0 has gone into final feature freeze as of today. As a new feature, we'll make interim beta versions available via ftp://cran.us.r-project.org/pub/R/src/base alias http://cran.us.r-project.org/src/base (filename R-1.6.0beta_*.tar.gz, where * is the creation date). If you want to help ensure that the final 1.6.0 works satisfactorily on *your* platform, it might be a good idea to
