Cross-compile Samba 3.5.6 with STLinux 2.3 (SH4 CPU)
I need to generate a minimal Samba working in a SH4 cpu in a STLinux 2.3 environment. The goal is to have very very simple Samba server running in a STLinux environment. STLinux Kernel has included the CIFS support.
Really I'm a newbie in Samba cross-compilation. And obviously I've problems :-(

Xen Installation problems
Hello Xen Users,
I am facing a problem getting my installation of XEN boot up on a Red
Hat Linux Guest OS. What''s happening is that the grub loader tries to
install Xen but after a while it crashes and starts rebooting
recursively. I have tried both the entries listed below. I am using the
following entries in the grub.conf file:

wineconsole crashes - what am I doing wrong?
Dear All,
I am running Wine under Linux - Suse 10.1 (kernel 2.6.16). GUI apps work
fine (eg "wine notepad", "wine matlab") and wcmd works too ("wine wcmd"),
but any CUI program causes a crash, like this:
/home/gcunning> wineconsole --backend=user "c:freedos\edit.com"

Hi,
I''m having trouble with Rails failing to find things I''ve installed
with Rubygems... (I''m new to rails so I might not be doing this
correctly.)
First I tried to use ''calibre/bbcode''. My ''gem install calibre-bbcode''

[sh4] klibc SIGILL
Hi sh4 porters,
I?ve just fixed a regression of klibc to build from source
on sh4 using the sumotsu.debian.net porterbox (thanks for
making one available) and found a problem with your archi-
tecture: all binaries built with klibc (shared and static)
get a SIGILL (illegal instruction).
I suspect that different CFLAGS are needed. Please, someone,
have a look at it; a release of klibc 2.0 upstream

arguments imply differing number of rows
Hi Team,
I using the syntax as:
data.df<- data.frame(
city= c(rep(c("Delhi", "Bangalore","Chandigarh"),each=5)),
population= c(4000:6000,3500:4300,3000:3200)
)
But i am getting the error as arguments imply differing number of rows: 15,
3003.
Tried searching google but could not understand & find the solution.
Thanks, Shivi

tftp-hpa fails after lost data packet
Hello,
I am using the tftp-hpa 0.48 as delivered in Linux Fedora Core 9 as a
client to send a file to another server on an unreliable network.
The transaction is sometimes timing out.
I have monitored the the TFTP packets to see what is missing.
It seems a DATA packet is being lost. The server is repeating the ACKs
for the previous packet every three seconds. I think these repeated ACKs
are

Silent Hunter 4 1.5 on MacOS X/Wine 1.2-rc2
Hello all,
I tried to run SH4 1.5 on my Mac (MacOS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard) but it crashes even before the menus can be displayed because of some unimplemented D3DX call (D3DXCreateTextureFromFileExA) in D3DX9_36.dll.
I used Wine version 1.2-rc2.
According to the AppDB, several persons who ran it on Linux got the menus working.
How is it possible that running SH4 on Linux doesn't trigger

Samba 3.0.28a integration with 2003 AD and password lockout policy?
I'm encountering some oddness using Samba 3.0.28a, MIT kerberos (1.6.3)
for user authentication on Linux, to 2003 Active Directory.
The password policy dictated by AD should lock accounts after 6
incorrect login attempts within a 30 minute period. However, it seems to
halve that when logging in to these Linux boxes via ssh - so after 3
incorrect login attempts, the AD account gets locked.

length of 'dimnames' [2] not equal to array extent- For Correlation Plot
That does clarify for me that you're missing a step: I didn't clearly
follow your description at first.
corrplot expects a correlation matrix, not your original data. You need to
use cor() first.
That's pretty clear in the documentation. See for instance the examples:
data(mtcars)
M <- cor(mtcars)
corrplot(M)

I need to send an email when something happens in my model...
but the model isn''t the right place to send mail from. That just
seems like pretty bad coupling, generating emails from within the
model. Or is that not a problem? On top of that, these emails need
to contain links back to my site...which is a bit of a pain in
ActionMailer, but I found directions on

RFT: klibc 2.0.5
In preparation for the klibc 2.0.5 release I wrote a basic test script
which:
1. Builds for each architecture (with a cross-compiler where needed)
2. Runs several statically-linked programs (using qemu-user where
needed):
a. Many self-test programs
b. "sh -c exit"
c. "sh -c '.../bin/true; exit'"
The results for the architectures I was able to test are:

arguments imply differing number of rows
4000:6000 gives you 4000, 4001, ..., 6000. I suspect you want
population= c(seq(4000, 6000, length=5), seq(3500, 4300, length=5),
seq(3000, 3200, length=5))
