[fsblk@aurora.uaf.edu: Bug#138828: flac: strange decode output]
retitle 138828 flac: progress display is broken with long filenames
thanks
I don't think it's a gnome-terminal issue, as I've seen the same behaviour
with xterm in the past. I've never bothered doing anything about it because
it seems to be purely cosmetic; the operation still completes successfully.
I'm forwarding this bug upstream.

packaging flac for debian
The users of debian have been without high quality lossless audio
compression too long, I say. I am therefore packaging flac for debian.
Having your program debian packaged is a great new source of bug reports
(both forwarded from me where appropriate and sent in directly from
misguided users when I screw up :), so I thought I'd say hello now.
Also, I haven't packaged a library before,

First, thanks to everyone for putting in their time to make the first
truly "free" lossless audio codec. I'm co-founder of etree.org, the
largest online community of lossless audio traders (currently 12,000
active members). We have been living in the shadow of Shorten for almost
three years. Shorten, as most of you have come to realize, is extremely

opus lossless?
Hi All,
It is possible to make Opus/CELT a lossless coder if I allow
a sufficiently high bit rate? We considered using FLAC, but FLAC's latency
is well beyond the acceptable range.
Thanks

More on our TODO lit
Hi!
We have a couple more things on our TODO list, it seems... (If we could use the
BTS tracking things would be better) (or we could use the issue tracker on
alioth, for now)
1. xen-utils:
Right now domains get shut down on upgrade... This is ok in a 2.0 -> 3.0
scenario, but it's not in a 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2, where we could avoid that,
probably! Should we perhaps try to avoid that,
