Programs like ices
"
Does anyone know if there is a program for linux like ices that can dump live audio from an input to an mp3 file? Or, is there any software for windows that can capture the mic input and line in input and encode them seperately but both live? Thanks,

A question about AGC usage
Hello All,
I'm using speex codec in ARM based embedded project and really satisfied
by its performances and quality (thanks a lot for speex development team
for great work!).
I'd like to add AGC functionality and as I actually understood it is not
supported in FPU-less platforms. Is it correct?
If it is, do you have any updates of preprocessor or an experience to
run AGC in

libspeex for other platforms
wouldn't it be a good idea to have the libraray available as a binary for
non-PC platforms like the PocketPC, Symbian and Mac?
i am suggesting this as it will allow the developers to go ahead and
program to an interface while the development continues.
there are builds for symbian, pocket pc and linux already in the tar ball.
putting their binaries on the download section will probably

How can I optimize speex under SH
Hi,
I have just begin to look into Speex.Speex encodes and decodes fine under
SH platform (96MHz).
But encoding is taking lot of time i,e for 20ms frame it is taking ~890ms
to encode it. Which is very high
[To encode 96KB data it takes around 4.5min.]
Whether is this architecture suitable for speex ?
Whether writing some assembly instructions and some optimization will

It looks like an sprite coming from a Megaman game :). My humble
opinion is that while the dragon looks nice when large, when
small it just feels childish and unprofessional.
My 2 cents.

Thank you
Dear r-community,
Today I have completed my PhD. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the r-community for helping me with the r-coding. I use r to do data manipulation during my PhD and I benefit a lot through the discussion in the r-forum.
I will continue using R and help the others too.
Thank you so much.

Setting up deployment scenario
I am familiar with using RoR in a pure development environment, that is
to say that I can create a local project, access it via a web browser,
update the database, etc. However, I''m having trouble figuring out how
to best set up things with actual deployment in mind. Forgive me if this
has been asked before, I couldn''t find it easily.
Right now I have a subversion repository
