using StatEt IDE for Eclipse
Hi, I'm trying to use StatEt IDE for Eclipse as my R editor, but I'm completely lost. I've read all I could find online, made apparently all I had to do (installing rj, configuraing StatEt, etc.) but still cannot make R running. Below is the error log file. Thank you so much for assistance. Matteo !ENTRY de.walware.statet.r.console.ui 1 0 2011-12-05 16:21:51.355 !MESSAGE

Doesn't seem likely. I had a crack at rebuilding the latest FC4 package from source and the build-dep requirements seem daunting...

Need Help with StatET Error/Bug? on Ubuntu 8.10 amd64
Hi, I posted this message on the StatET-user board last week, but it looks like a ghost-town... I have a bad feeling that there is some code in the plug-in which doesn't work well with my environment, but if I am lucky, maybe other users have worked around this problem somehow - I am hoping that my setup is the issue. Note: very similar StatET setups on 32-bit XP Pro and Vista run

Eclipse (Java) locking issues after upgrade (3.6.23 -> 4.4.3)
Hello, We seem to not be able to use Eclipse with a network drive since we upgraded our Samba server to version 4.4.3. Here's the error we get: mac-mini:MacOS user$ ./eclipse java.lang.RuntimeException: Error initializing storage. at org.eclipse.osgi.internal.framework.EquinoxContainer.<init>(EquinoxContainer.java:68) at

Eclipse CDT not working properly
Hello again, Another problem with my new CentOS 6 installation: The C/C++ support in Eclipse seems to be partial or missing - even though eclipse-cdt is installed. Eclipse starts all right, and I get a C/C++ perspective, but: 1. If I open a C++ file, it's sent to an external editor. 2. C or C++ is not mentioned in Preferences. 3. I can't find a reference to CDT under Help->About

[LLVMdev] eclipse and gdb
Hi Reed, I’ve used Eclipse for a long time to do LLVM development on Linux (both for code navigation/editing and debugging), any recent Linux distribution and version of Eclipse should be fine (even older versions should be good enough as this has been working for many years). Xcode works fine as well, I started to use Xcode exclusively when I switched to OS X. The key to make this work is to

So I have downloaded the 64-bit bundle of eclipse, installed the java from java.sun.com, and the result is that Eclipse won't run. It chugges away and then reports: $

[LLVMdev] eclipse and gdb
Hi, I am using Eclipse to edit the files, and I used it to debug with gdb as well (but I went back to gdb on the command line, Eclipse GDB UI is just too slow and buggy for me ..). You need to exclude the clang preprocessor/.. stress tests from the sources, otherwise the indexer will freeze Eclipse. You should also remove some autogenerated CMake project subdirectories, otherwise your files

Eclipse (again)...
Hi Just thought I might ask my recent question about Eclipse again, only in a slightly different way: Is anyone here using the Eclipse version supplied with the CentOS 6 distro (as opposed to a build downloaded from www.eclipse.org)? Does it work for you? Are you able to install additional components via the built-in software setup mechanism? Thanks, - Toralf This e-mail, including any

[LLVMdev] IR Editor Plugin for Eclipse
Hi, I've written an Eclipse plugin which adds an .ll file editor to Eclipse. It elevates the language support to nearly the same level that other programming languages enjoy under the Eclipse IDE, so it can be useful for anyone who manually reads or writes IR. Primary features are: * Syntax coloring which can deal with arbitrarily complex types (unlike what most other editors offer) *
