UTF-8 patch for Samba 2.0.7
See description in the attached patch. -------------- next part -------------- This quick hack adds primitive support of UTF-8 as a server 'character set' to Samba 2.0.7. All file, share and user names are stored on server in UTF-8, and translated into client code page (not UCS2) on the fly. Additionally, server string conversion is added. Tested with Chinese and Russian Windows clients.

SCSI bus reset with Adaptec 29320ALP and Eonstor RAID
Hello, I am trying to use a 1.5TB Eonstor raid array with FreeBSD 7.0, but I don't understand whether it is the raid or the scsi card or something else that is causing the computer problems when accessing the raid. Still getting a generator hang on 2.6.7
I've gotten around to testing the generator hang bug using stunnel under 2.6.7, and I still occasionally get the same problem. It seems to be around 50% of the time. Here's some strace output from the generator and receiver from two runs, one where the generator exits properly, and one where it doesn't. Run 2 hangs indefinately. estimating survival times with glmnet and coxph
Dear all, I am using glmnet (Coxnet) for building a Cox Model and to make actual prediction, i.e. to estimate the survival function S(t,Xn) for a new subject Xn. If I am not mistaken, glmnet (coxnet) returns beta, beta*X and exp(beta*X), which on its own cannot generate S(t,Xn). We miss baseline survival function So(t). panics on 24 hour boundaries
Hi stable, nice you see you again. I was one of those guys who was seeing constand panics on 24 hour boundaries but couldn't provide a backtrace due to the ar device not taking a dump. Dear All, ? I have found differences between glmnet versions 1.7 and 1.7.1 which, in my opinion, are not cosmetic and do not appear in the ChangeLog.
