Mediatrix 1204
Hi -
I've recently bought a mediatrix 1204 and have had a complete nightmare
getting it up and running with an asterisk@home setup. I know this isn't a
mediatrix list but I'm at my wits end and the support with this product is
atrocious. (mine was even shipped with firmware that was incompatible with
the win32 software it came with so I wasted a day trying to work out why the

How can I intercept attribute calls?
Hi.
I have two types of fields in my database, e.g. "name" and "name_ru".
First one is a user''s name in english and the second one is in russian.
I want to intercept calls like "c.name" and add "_ru" to it if current
language is russian (I have my own Locale class like n Globalize).
So I want such thing:

Locale.set("en-US")

need an example with 2 different nets
Hi, thanks.
Sorry for the mess with my gmail account...
This made the route go away. But is this the right way to configure tinc?
To give the tinc interface an IP (with 255.255.255.255 subnetmask) from the
local (green)
network it does route the traffic to?
Does it make sense to give the tinc interface an 192.168.0.253 IP, when the
net here is 192.168.0.0/24 on eth1
I can not find such a

linux transparent bridge running squid
Hi I have been using Shorewall for a while now and find it very useful and easy to configure, I am learning iptables and having trouble getting the bridge to successfully work with squid, although I get it working with Shorewall straight away? Does anyone know the rules to successfully use squid with a transparent bridge?

Delay when changing DNAT rules
Whenever I add or remove a DNAT rule such as:
iptables -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.0.1
there is sometimes a delay before the correct nat''ing is done. Can anyone tell
me why this is? Is it something to do with caching of routing tables? If so, is
there a way to clear them to ensure that the rule takes effect immediately?
I am building a simple

DNAT''ing and iproute
-- Can someone please give an example or two how one might accomplish
DNAT''ing and ip routes? It appears that the de''DNAT''ing takes
place after the routing decisions so when I use something like ip
rule from incoming-address table out-route it just doesn''t seem to
ever route anything out. DNAT doesn''t seem to keep track of the

DNAT for ongoing UDP flows
Hi,
i need to dynamically change the destination IP address
of UDP packets for an ongoing UDP flow. That means
when the flow starts for the first time no change
is needed and after some time a change of the destination
IP address must be done to redirect the packets to another
machine dynamically. For new flows this could be done using e.g.:
iptables -t nat -A OUTPUT/PREROUTING -p udp

SNAT (or MASQUERADING) and DNAT question
Hi,
The private adresses (192.168.254.0/255.255.255.0) of my network are sent
dynamically by dhcp on my network. The dhcp server is on the firewall which
address is 192.168.254.1/255.255.255.255 (this address is static).
I''ve got a rsync server on this network which is on a separe server. His
address is 192.168.254.200/255.255.255.255 (this address is static).
I want that the users
