Error in compiling Speexdec code (Speex-1.1.5 code) on Windows using VC++6.0
Hi,
I've downloaded the Speex-1.1.5 code and am trying to compile the Speexdec code using Microsoft VC++ 6.0 IDE.
When I try to open the speexdec.dsw workspace, I get a dialog asking to locate the ogg_static file. I simply cancel that message, and then the project is opened in the VC++ 6.0 IDE.
Now, when I simply try to compile the program, I receive this 5 error messages.

SpeexEnc/SpeexDec Source Code
I'm working in .NET and have found that there is, unfortunately, no simple
way to access unmanaged, object-oriented APIs from C#/VB.NET. Ultimately I
have decided to adapt speexenx and speexdec into a simple, functional API
with two functions: one for encoding an array of bytes, and one for decoding
it.
Does anyone know if the source code for speexenc and speecdec is available,
or are they

Error in compiling Speexdec code (Speex-1.1.5 code) on Windows usingVC++6.0
Hi Chris,
Thanks a lot for your help. I've been able to resolve all the errors except one.
I don't have ogg.h header file, so when I try to build Speexdec.exe, I get an error
d:\speex\speex-1.1.5\src\speexdec.c(44) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'ogg/ogg.h': No such file or directory
I don't have this file, but as I wrote in my previous mail, an ogg_static

Boring but useful VP3/QT patches
I think I'll start with the simple stuff, just to be safe. :-)
Here are some cvsignore updates, and a fix for the inter-project dependencies in the MSVC *.dsw file.
Cheers,
Eric

VC6 MS Project Files
The VC6 .dsp and .dsw files included with the distro of the Vorbis source
has a few problems. Mostly, a few files are missing and cause unresolved
symbols when attempting to link to the resulting vorbis.lib. There also
exists a problem with linking to LIBC, that can cause multiply defined
symbols in an application that attempts to use vorbis.lib.
The attached .dsp and .dsw file fix these

Vorbis Beta 2 MSVC Files
The .dsp and .dsw files included I obtained as a part of the vorbis source,
via CVS, are not recognized by Visual Studio as valid workspace/project
files. Should I be getting these files from another place or can someone
clue me in on how else to build vorbis on a windows platform?

Some minor refactoring of Oggdrop build environment
I performed a minor amount of refactoring of the build environment for oggdrop.
These include:
Action: Added a workspace to manage project files and dependencies
Purpose: To build all dependent libraries before attempting to build oggdrop --
i.e. provide one-step build process.
Instead of opening "oggdrop.dsp", open "oggdrop.dsw"
Action: Added

Talking about ditching, there are still .dsp files in the repository,
these are MSVC 6 files. I haven't seen anyone on the list testing

MSVC project updates
One more set of MSVC project updates. Changed ogg_static.lib to
libogg_static.lib as that's the name latest version uses. Removed MSVC
6.0 related parts from README and tweaked info there to be more
up-to-date. Also changed nasmw.exe into nasm.exe as nasmw.exe has been
long gone.
LibFLAC_dynamic was complaining in debug mode about conflicts with
libcmt, I excluded it from the project

two computers set up ... now what???
I'm new to asterisk and need some help.
I have two computers. Each computer has a Wildcard X100P and a NIC. I have
an incoming telephone line going to the "line" connector, and an analog
phone connected to the phone port.
I have everything installed, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next.
How do I go about calling one phone from the other?

samba, openldap, smbldap tools
Hi-
I'musing the smbldap tools to create ldap entries for user logins through
samba. I was just wondering if anyone knew what format userPassword is
stored in. Is it an md5 hash? Thanks!!

[PATCH] Add Visual Studio 2008 Prject files
I pulled the test directory from 2003, but everything else from 2005. The 2005 files have more ?cross-compiling? targets than the 2003 ones. I fixed the various missing files in the new 2008 projects (misc.c and one other other are gone now).
The only thing you could do which would make them more compact would be to get rid of the subdirectories under each vs-version. There is no real need for

Help needed with IAX behind NAT
Hi All,
I know, IAX is NAT friendly, but... I have a problem running gnophone from a
box behind NAT firewall.
I can register gnophone with * through NAT, but when I try to make a call it
instantly disconnects. CLI
iax show peers command tells me that peer is unreachable. However this peer
is registred. Gnophone also tells me that it is registred.
It seems that registration handshake has

Move existing Local Profile to Roaming
Hello:
I have a Redhat 7.3 samba server acting as a PDC and running samba
2.2.3a-13.
I have a few computers with extensive existing profiles and I want to know
if anyone knows of a good way to get the COMPLETE profile to the roaming
profile on the samba server. Every manual copy way that I have tried thus
far has failed miserably.
Thanks,
