hi, How do i detect whether there is silence in media using speex? Is there any API which decides that the audio data only contains silence? Basically i will have PCM linear data, I want to know whether it is complete silence. Is it that during encoding speex_bits_write will return a lesser number if the audio at byte_ptr contains silence? thanx, Rahul -- Rahul Arvind Jadhav

configuring TE410P for four E1 PRI lines
hi, I'm trying to configure my newly acquired TE410P card to work as 4 E1 spans. This is supposed to be a drop-in replacement to the earlier E100P card. However, on loading the zaptel module it gets configured as T1 spans basically doing a 'cat' on /proc/zaptel/1 thru 4, it shows 24 channels per span. After this ztcfg fails saying 'ZT_CHANCONFIG failed for channel 97'.

for all three nodes: Brick1: gluster-0-0:/mseas-data-0-0 Brick2: gluster-0-1:/mseas-data-0-1 Brick3: gluster-data:/data Which node are you trying to mount to /data? If it is not the gluster-data node, then it will fail if there is not a /data directory. In this case, it is a good thing, since mounting to /data on gluster-0-0 or gluster-0-1 would not accomplish what you need. To clarify, there

Well, the best way is probably to turn VAD *and* DTX on. Then when there's silence, the speex_encode function will return zero, which

a shoutcast server. Various posts say that you must start with shoutcast server and use icecast as the relay. (I don't want to do this because we already have a perl script written to work with ices and I don't want to have to redo it to work with shoutcast. It looks feasible but will still be quite a bit of work because there is no state saved between calls from shoutcast. In ices,
