Hi R community! I'd like to create a temporal series with ts command for the interval 1st January 2002 - 31 December 2008. I have daily values, so this is a 2557 days temporal series. I'm using this command : ts(observations, start=2002, end=2009, freq=365) However, I don't get the correct temporal series since both frequency (365 OR 366 for leap years) and deltat (1/365 OR

Non-Temporal hints from Loop Vectorizer
Hello, My work deals with non-temporal loads and stores i found non-temporal meta data in llvm documentation but its not shown in IR. How to get non-temporal meta data? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Yes, but we don't have anything that does that right now. The cost modeling is non-trivial,

Cross K Ripley's function and "spatio-temporal interaction power"
Dear All, I have a collections of spatial data. I have to analyze pairs of these point patterns to test their spatial interaction. I was moving towards the cross K Ripley's function. The problem, however, are the following: 1) What is the best way to get a single real value that represents the interaction "power"? 2) How to obtain a value that even allows me to rank the pairwise

Spatio-temporal analysis of homicide rates
Dear R-listers, I would like to carry out a very basic descriptive analysis of homicides rates in Italy, taking into account both the spatial dimension (103 provinces) and the temporal dimension (10 years), but no covariates. In practice, what I would like to do is to describe spatio-temporal variation of homicide rates, identifying those combinations of province-year where the homicide rate

Por ejemplo: library(zoo) dats <- data.frame(date=seq(as.Date('2012-01-01'), by='day', length=3*365), A=rnorm(3*365),

Add lines to xy plot with temporal x axis
Hi. I'm trying to add some vertical lines to an xyplot in which x axis is a temporal variable (class=dates) and y axis a factor variable. This is my code: xyplot(factor(Abacus$Emisor)~Abacus$Dia,xlab="Date", ylab="Fish",pch=124, scales=list(x=list(format="%b %Y",tick.number=30)) , panel=function(...){ panel.xyplot(...) panel.abline(v=08/08/2008) }) I'd

Non-Temporal hints from Loop Vectorizer
Actually i am working on vector accelerator which will perform those instructions which are non temporal. for instance if i have this loop for(i=0;i<2048;i++) a[i]=b[i]+c[i]; currently it emits following IR; %0 = getelementptr inbounds [2048 x i32], [2048 x i32]* @b, i64 0, i64 %index %1 = bitcast i32* %0 to <16 x i32>* %wide.load = load <16 x i32>, <16 x i32>* %1,

temporal evolution and variance after rotation of eof
Dear R users, I have been doing some eof analysis using princomp function, then the eof results were rotated with varimax and promax functions. Those functions are working fine. However, after their uses, I cannot find how to obtain the temporal evolution and the variance of the obtain components, as varimax and promax does not have the arguments $scores and $sdev. If any body, know how to

Spatial AND Temporal Dependency with lme, or other function?
Hi, I've got a new dataset which I don't know how to analyze with R. My knowledge about R is limited for this kind of problem. I've tried to find a solution with some spatio temporel packages and lme/lmer functions, but didn't find any similar example. I've got 10 locations on a coast on which the number of walrus was noted. I've got a distance measure between each

temporal and spatial correlation structures in GAMM
Dear R_help list members!   I’m studding forest carnivores and I have data on resting site selection and use!   I’m trying to model the probability that a forest carnivore might have in be located in a tree hollow (1) (the main resting site selected) rather than elsewhere (0) (other resting site types, dens, nests, etc.). The model should be related with several variables such as for instance:

desagregación temporal
Estimados usuarios de R: Tengo que hacer una desagregación temporal de una serie anual del producto interno bruto en trimestral. ¿Hay alguna forma de utilizar la librería en matlab de Quilis de desagregación temporal en R? La libreria se puede bajar de http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/24438-temporal-disaggregation-library Saludos, Sebastián.
