FIXED_POINT issue
Hi, I have an application for Windows that encodes speex into a QT Movie. This all work just fine. I am porting it to Windows Mobile and read to use the FIXED_POINT define for better performance. I decided to test FIXED_POINT on Windows and noticed that with FIXED_POINT the audio was garbled where before it was fine without FIXED_POINT defined. Is there any known issues or anything I must do

Autoreconf --install error
Hi all! I checked out the rev2366(it's stable NUT 2.4.3) and patched last liebert-esp2 revision + spiros last code. After, I used autoreconf --install and I gave the follow error msg: configure.in:86: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_C_FLEXIBLE_ARRAY_MEMBER If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. configure.in:87:

Legal Question
Hi, We would like to include Speex into our commercial product. Other than the revised BSD license, are there any other legal issues such as patents that we need to be aware of? Thanks, - Keith

dm-multipath do not autoscan partition table
Hello I am wondering if anyone este tried this. I Have few CentOS 6.2 systems that are running KVM virtual machines. As storage backend for them I use 2 iscsi targets (based on openindiana). For accessing these disks I use dm-multipath, since I use 2 separate networks for access. For these reasons I want host system to force not to scan dm-multipath disks for partitions. According to

FIXED_POINT issue

Fixed-point should work on any platform that can multiply two 16-bit integers, including Win32 (that is, until MS releases it's proprietary replacement for integers). Non-kbuild klibc obsoleted
I have now officially obsoleted the non-kbuild version of klibc (yes, it's way overdue... my work-for-pay hasn't been too kind to me with time, I'm afraid.) As a result, I've renamed the klibc-kbuild.git repository klibc.git; the old one is now klibc-old.git, but I'm not promising that it will be continued to be maintained going forward. -hpa

Old managers will change its the LaLawyershat don't change. Every dam law office that I been in has at least one fax machine that is constantly printing something out. But to say fax is dead is an understatement. AT&T said that about teletype service, you know 50 - 300 baud service, years ago and then one day they noticed that traffic across their teletype seservicetarted growing. If

Converting a character string into an object variable
R-helpers: Assume that I want to create a series of sequentially named R objects. For example, I might want to call these objects V1, V2, V3 ... V50. To do this, I thought of some sort of looping function like: input.value <- seq(1:50) * 3 for(i in 1:50){ paste("V", i, sep="") <- input.value[i] } Of course this loop will not work since the paste function
