No, the guest user is usually a Unix user (usually 'nobody')

Samba CTDB clustering panic
Hi all,
I'm setting up a clustered environment on CentOS 7.6.1810 with
Samba 4.8.3-6.el7_6 and the corresponding ctdb package. I'm using FreeIPA
4.6.4 as my auth backend.
Currently I'm running into this bug
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13465 however I would assume
that it is fixed in the latest release (dated 29July 2019). It crashed once
CTDB runs testparm to check the

Samba 4.8.10 for rhel7/centos7 rpms
Adding Alexander (cc'ed, thank you)
Hi Sergio,
I found some hints (dating back almost a year ago) about why gnutls-3.4
might be needed:
https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2018-April/127282.html
I don't know how much of this still holds true (I've been running an AD DC
with rhel7's gnutls 3.3.z for over a year without apparent issues).
Regards,
Vincent

SSH Server and Hash algorithms
OK? So, I have posted on the Centos list, comp.security.ssh, and Linux Forums, and no one seems to have heard of this issue or even have any advice for me. So, I am going to take a shot with the Samba list, since this is related.
I have a Centos 6.2 server freshly updated. It is authenticating against an openldap server, and I am having an issue with the hashing algorithms being used by various

Newbie woes with *apply
Dataframe cust has Date-type column open.date. I wish to set up another
column, with (first day of) the quarter of open.date.
To be comprehensive (of course, improvement suggestions are welcome),
month = function(date)
{
return(as.numeric(format(date,"%m")))
}
first.day.of.month = function(date)
{
return(date + 1 - as.numeric(format(date,"%d")))
}

conflicts in updating to CR repo
Note, first of all I haven't actually updated, I'm just running "yum update"
to see what conflicts, if any, I get so I can be prepared when the final
7.7 release happens.
I've traditionally used the nvidia packages from elrepo, but recently
enabled rpmfusion (back when I started using 7.x, I disabled rpmfusion
because it took them a looooong time to get a EL7 repository up).

accessing created_on causes type error
I assume that this is some newbie stupidity, but I haven''t found my
way around this problem. I have an ActiveRecord object fetched
from the database, and I need to evaluate the contents of the
updated_on field. However, *any* attempt to access that data in the
program results in a TypeError with the message ''no implicit conversion
from nil to integer''.
