to shares access from non-member clients/nodes

I was tempted to write "yes, of course", but then I realized the share I was thinking of is hosted by windows rather than samba... What does work: non-domain clients can connect to a windows share hosted by a domain member using domain\user + password. I

samba as ADS member(s) - virtually identical yet..
hi everyone, .. one of the Sambas fails to authenticate users. I have four virtually identical Samba systems which are configured as AD members. All servers seem fine, I can $ net ads lookup | status | dn | user | testjoin .. and so on. But, problem is that all servers except one can successfully: smbclient -L $(hostname) -UDOM\\user here that one server fails: SPNEGO login failed: Logon

keytabs basics linux <=> AD ?
hi users a novice here hoping to grasp fundamentals soon I have a samba+sssd as a client to an AD - I have all the keytabs for a host(I think) but I noticed weird(to me at least) smbclient behavior. when I do: $ smbclient -L swir -U me at AAA.PRIVATE.DOM -k all works, clients sees local samba's shares, when I do: $ smbclient -L swir.private.aaa.private.dom -U pe243 at AAA.PRIVATE.DOM -k

FunstionType is a type, so alloca for functionType should be possible? Not? If we have a valid Module *m we can get an allocate instruction allocating space for a non-argumented function as follows: AllocaInst* pa2 = new

"Warning message: package '...' was built under R version 2.3.0"
Hi, While installing precompiled packages I often get warnings like the one in the subject. I usually ignore them, but I still do not understand why windows packages are build with unreleased versions of R. Is there some way to get packages build under R-2.2.0? What are potential problems that can result from that version mismatch? My system: winXP R version: 2.2.0 Jarek Tuszynski
