SAMBA AD DC - Windows explorer.exe crashes on security tab access
I experienced a Windows Explorer crash in https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2019-July/224346.html as well... Try samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset (or check first). SAMBA AD DC - Windows explorer.exe crashes on security tab access
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with Raspbian Buster and a Samba AD DC is running on it. Everything works fine, I use Active Directory Users And Computers and Computer Management on Windows to control the users and the Samba share permissions. Until this point everything works fine, but the following error raised on Windows. If there is a shared directory which was made by mkdir command and a UNIX

sieve for systemusers
Hello! I enabled LDA for systemusers bei adding mailbox_command = /usr/lib/dovecot/dovecot-lda -f "$SENDER" -a "$RECIPIENT" to main.cf of postfix. I have done this because I want to use sieve for systemusers too, not only for virtual users. But the sievescripts do not work for those systemusers. What else needs to be done to get sieve to work for systemusers? Kind regards

plot.hclust: strange behaviour with "manufactured" hclust object
I've been trying to get plot.hclust to work with a hclust object I created and have not had much success. It seems that there is some "hidden" characteristic of a hclust object that I can't see. This is most easily seen in the following example, where plot.hclust works on one object, but when this object is "dumped" and then re-read, plot.hclust no longer works. Is

This worked for me with your example: source("dumpdata.R") storage.mode(x.hc$merge) <- "integer" plot(x.hc) (R-1.4.1 compiled from source on WinNT4.) SAMBA AD DC - Windows explorer.exe crashes on security tab access
Hey Joachim, So 2 things! 1. Accessing unix created samba share from Windows. Can you provide your share definition or complete smb.conf? It will better to repro and investigate. 2. I believe samba-tool needs investigation! # /usr/local/samba/bin/samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck ......... ERROR(runtime): uncaught exception - samdb_domain_sid failed ? File

SAMBA AD DC - Windows explorer.exe crashes on security tab access
Hi Joachim, I tried to use samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset command, but the it did not resolve the problem. It it very interesting there are not much reports about this bug. Why? Is it not a common problem? Especially if it is related to a Windows bug. (maybe OFF-TOPIC:) speex for voice-message/mail application
Hi, This may not be the right place to ask this question, but for the want of a better alternative I am posing this query here. Pointing to the more appropriate forum would be immensely appreciated. Are there any existing products / projects that use Speex for discontinuous transmission, as in voice-message / voice-mail application ? Also, what is the recommended container format for speex

re: cannot map ntgroup to ldap group-fixed
ok, i noticed the gid of ldap group "users" was 539, but the one it was migrated from in /etc/group was 100, so I changed the gid and everything seems to work now? but why should it care that the gid is the same as it's /etc/group counterpart? --- On Tue 01/27, John H. < mrmailer@myway.com > wrote: From: John H.
