similar to: autenticate squid via samba 4

I have configured samba like member of AD, if i type in console 'wbinfo -u' y get all user of my AD, if type in console 'wbinfo -g' y get all groups too. It's correct but if i type 'getent passwd' or 'getent group' don't get any user or group of my AD... why??? * in nsswitch.conf appears: passws: files winbind group: files winbind shadow: files winbind

Multi-tab, Expact support, connections tree, connection , user and password saving (I know they should not be saved). hi every body.... I need help.. I have the following code in a user model. But when i try to autenticate an user always returns nil, my session controller calls the autenticate method. I proves comparing only the database password with new encrypted password but always returns nil. The database password was encryted with the same encrypt method. I dont know what i need to do. Is it possible for squid3 to authenticate its users with samba 4 active directory while both services are on the same pc? Maybe that could be the reason it does not work for me? What do you think?
